From passion to sophisticated business strategy
“If profit was my only goal, I would have given up a long time ago. I have been patient for 5 years, the revenue is not as expected, but what I get in return is a small brand, a lot of trust and a lovely customer community” - Phuoc confided.

Born and raised with a special love for old household items, since childhood, Phuoc has carefully kept every spoon and pestle that his family used more than 30 years ago. That passion gradually grew over time, and then became the motivation for the girl majoring in English to turn to the business of pottery, wood, and handicrafts.
Each ceramic collection is meticulously collected by Phuoc and then randomly set up according to color tones and themes.
In the beginning, Phuoc only had a small wooden shelf in her rented room in Rach Gia, where she displayed a few second-hand Japanese ceramic items. Every time she moved house, it was a challenge, because “ceramics are not easy to transport, they have to be packed very carefully, one by one, very hard, but also very loving”!
From that small shelf, the first orders were born. Then, thanks to a friend with the same passion, Phuoc continued to expand the business space when he went to Phu Quoc. Another small corner was set up. After that, he returned to Rach Gia and officially opened a shop in Phu Cuong urban area, which has now become a meeting place for pottery lovers.

“Many young people come to the store not only to buy products, but also to chat and find inspiration for decoration. There are groups of students who even choose to buy products from the store to sell to raise funds for environmental protection. That makes me see that this job is not just about selling, but also a way to connect the community,” Phuoc said.
From the 5,000 VND dipping sauce bowl, to the solid mother-of-pearl wood items, the custom-made Bat Trang tea set, or the famous Japanese Bizen ceramics with unique fire-changing glaze... All are present at TK_Deco as slices of the journey of maturity, like a collection carefully selected from the heart of the owner.

Not following trends, Phuoc chose her own path. She focused on setting up in pink, blue, white porcelain tones or following the theme of afternoon tea or family meals. She hopes that customers can easily choose and feel happy when decorating their kitchen.
“I believe the kitchen is a place of healing. The kitchen space heals the soul, while food heals the body. A beautiful set of dishes and a teapot that suits your taste is also a way to preserve family affection,” Phuoc shared.
Phuoc's family's small kitchen is made of ceramic, terracotta, rattan, bamboo, and wood.
In a time when everyone is busy following trends and doing everything to "make money quickly" - Phuoc chose to go the opposite way: slow, meticulous and sincere.
Patience is the best asset
“Every failure is a lesson. Thanks to that, I now know what to choose, what to leave, how to invest, and who to connect with. I want to preserve the spirit of the shop, which is both a place of business and a cultural and memorable space,” Phuoc said.

Currently, TK_Deco not only sells Japanese ceramics, wood, and sedge handicrafts from Giang Thanh but also wholesales to cafes, homestays, and restaurants that need uniqueness. Phuoc has also connected with Bat Trang ceramic workshop to order personalized products with logos, an ambitious step in the journey of building a brand.

Phuoc's husband is always supportive, as long as she can do what makes her happy. "My husband said as long as I do something fun and don't feel pressured, that's fine" - Phuoc smiled lightly.
From an old cup to the dream of building a sustainable brand, Phuoc's journey is proof that patience is the most valuable asset of a startup, especially when we do business with passion and heart.
