Lang Son participates in the exhibition of socio-economic achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025)

From August 28, 2025 to September 5, 2025 at the National Exhibition Center, Co Loa, Dong Anh, Hanoi, the Exhibition of the Country's Socio-Economic Achievements with the theme "80 YEARS OF INDEPENDENCE - FREEDOM - HAPPINESS" will take place. At the exhibition area "Rich Province, Strong Country", the exhibition area of Lang Son province with the theme "LANG SON - 80 YEARS OF JOURNEY TO RISE UP" is designed in a modern style, highlighting the image of a dynamic and integrated mountainous border province. The exhibition area consists of 6 areas: the central area, 4 thematic areas and the reception area, introducing the comprehensive development journey in the fields of socio-economy, National Defense - Security of the province over the past 80 years.

The front of the exhibition hall is modeled after the Huu Nghi International Border Gate and an administrative map to affirm Lang Son’s important geopolitical and geo-economic position on the Vietnam-China border. The display blocks are shaped like “border bamboo groves”, evoking the symbol of the tradition of solidarity and resilience of the army and people in the border area.

The exhibition booth includes 3 main themes: Lang Son - land, people ; Socio -economic achievements of Lang Son province ; Lang Son, confident, breaking through to enter a new era of the nation . Focusing on introducing through images and artifacts about Lang Son - the international trade bridge with the system of international border gates by road and railway, national border gates and many secondary border gates with the message: Connecting trade, reaching out for integration; An overview of the location, history and culture of Lang Son province, with more than 7 ethnic groups living together creating a rich and unique national cultural identity with many typical relics and festivals; The 80-year process of construction, struggle and development of the province is recreated through timelines from 1945-2025, from the tradition of Bac Son uprising to the period of innovation and integration.

In particular, the exhibition area of Lang Son UNESCO Global Geopark (recognized in April 2025) introduces unique archaeological, geological and biodiversity values. Along with that is the exhibition area of OCOP products, typical images and artifacts in the fields of: Industry, trade activities, tourism, services, rural agriculture, green and sustainable agricultural development , highlighting the orientation of green and modern development. Besides, there are also cultural and artistic activities, cuisine and other activities: Then singing, Chau dancing, making ethnic lion heads, embroidery, weaving, folk cultural games of Lang Son ethnic groups, and exhibition introducing the culinary quintessence of Lang Son.

With the attention and direction of the provincial leaders, the close coordination of departments, branches, agencies and units in the province, the exhibition booth of Lang Son province was designed solemnly, on a large scale, harmoniously combining tradition and modernity , with visual highlights, LED projection models, maps, development charts and key exhibits... clearly showing the province's unique cultural identity , unique cultural and historical values, outstanding achievements in the fields of economy - society, national defense - security, foreign affairs and international integration. Introducing and promoting the potentials and strengths of border gate economy, tourism, trade, industry, agriculture, agricultural and forestry processing services... affirming Lang Son as a bright spot of strong development in the Northeast region in the new era.

The exhibition is open free of charge from August 28 to September 5, 2025. At the National Exhibition Center, Co Loa, Dong Anh, Hanoi.
