Hunting for escaped prisoners in Tien Giang

On the evening of January 18, the Investigation Police Agency of Tien Giang Province informed that they were urgently mobilizing forces to capture prisoners who escaped from prison.

This person's identity is Vuong Trong Hung (25 years old, residing in Lien Nghia town, Duc Trong district, Lam Dong province).

Around 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. on January 18, a prisoner at My Phuoc Prison took advantage of a prison guard's negligence while he was working outside and escaped from the prison.

According to the Investigation Police Agency, Vuong Trong Hung committed the crime of "fraudulent appropriation of property" and was arrested in November 2020. He was sentenced to 13 years in prison by the court and is serving his sentence at My Phuoc Prison under Department C10 ( Ministry of Public Security ).

At the end of 2023, two prisoners Phan Cong Thanh and Nguyen Dac Hoang also took advantage of a loophole to escape from Xuan Ha Prison (located in Cam Xuyen district, Ha Tinh). The Department of Police for Management of Prisons, Compulsory Education Facilities, and Reformatory Schools (Ministry of Public Security) issued a wanted notice for these two prisoners.

Ha Tinh police mobilized more than 2,000 officers and soldiers, including professional units, criminal police, traffic police, investigation police, local police and commune police, to deploy professional measures to capture the two escaped prisoners.

In the early morning of December 9, 2023, two prisoners were arrested while hiding in Cam Lac commune, Cam Xuyen district.
