Dong Hai 1 Primary School received certificate of national standard level 1 recognition.

Dong Hai 1 Primary School was established under Decision No. 3932/QD-UBND dated August 15, 2007 of the People's Committee of Phan Rang-Thap Cham City.

In the 2024-2025 school year, Dong Hai 1 Primary School has two campuses, with 28 classes/965 students. The total number of staff and civil servants is 47 people. The school's facilities are well-invested, meeting the teaching and learning requirements according to the 2018 GeneralEducation Program. The school's staff and teachers are always interested in promoting and effectively implementing innovation in management, innovation in teaching methods, testing and evaluation, thereby creating positive changes in the quality of education.

In the past 5 years, the school has had officials recognized as Emulation Fighters at the grassroots level, over 90% of teachers have been recognized as excellent teachers at the school level and there are excellent teachers at the city and provincial levels. The school's Party cell, youth union, and trade union organizations are annually recognized for completing their tasks well.
