The admission scores for 59 undergraduate training programs of Van Lang University range from 15 - 20.5 points (method of considering high school graduation exam scores), 18 - 23 points (method of considering high school transcript scores), 500 - 750 points (method of considering Ho Chi Minh City National University's Competency Assessment Exam scores), 200 - 270 points (method of considering V-SAT Competency Assessment Exam scores).

The above scores are for candidates who are high school students in region 3 (no priority given to subjects or regions). The difference in admission scores between groups of subjects and between two regions is calculated according to the general regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training .
Note:
(*): Majors with main exam subjects are multiplied by a coefficient of 2 and converted to a 30-point scale.
Piano and Vocal majors: Music Aptitude 2 multiplied by 2; Music Aptitude 1 and Literature must score 5.00 or higher, Music Aptitude 2 must score 7.00 or higher.
Drama, Film and Television Actor; Film and Television Director: SKDA 2 Aptitude subject multiplied by 2; SKDA 1 and Literature Aptitude subject must achieve 5.00 points or higher, SKDA 2 Aptitude subject must achieve 7.00 points or higher.
If candidates use the 2025 National University of Ho Chi Minh City's National High School Graduation Exam scores to apply for admission to the majors of Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Digital Art Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, and Architecture: in addition to the prescribed score, candidates need to take the Drawing aptitude test, achieving 5.0 points or higher (on a 10-point scale). The aptitude score is not included in the total admission score.
Admission requirements for Health Sciences (with all methods except for the method of considering high school graduation exam scores): candidates need to have Good academic performance or a high school graduation exam score of 8.0 or higher if applying for Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy; candidates need to have Fair academic performance or higher or a high school graduation exam score of 6.5 or higher if applying for Nursing, Medical Laboratory Technology.

The V-SAT test score method is not used for admission to majors with aptitude tests.
After 5:00 p.m. on August 22, 2025, candidates can look up the admission results and the official Admission Notice to Van Lang University at the website: https://tuyensinh.vlu.edu.vn/ket-qua-trung-tuyen (enter your ID card to look up).
From August 23, 2025, Van Lang University will send the Admission Notice (paper copy) to the candidates' contact address. Candidates can use this Admission Notice or print the electronic version of the Admission Notice (via searching on the website) to proceed with enrollment.

From August 23, 2025 to August 31, 2025, candidates come to Van Lang University to complete official admission procedures and confirm admission on the national admission system before August 30, 2025.
From August 23 to August 31, 2025, Van Lang University will organize official admission procedures for new students of Course 31 at the Main Campus and Campus 1.
