University of Social Sciences and Humanities adds C00 combination to 17 training majors

On May 7, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi adjusted the 2025 enrollment information, adding the C00 group (Literature, History, Geography) for 17 training majors.

On the morning of June 7, Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong, Vice Principal of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, said: After the Ministry of Education and Training requested higher education institutions to review admission methods and combinations, the University's Admissions Council met, asked for the opinion of the University Council, reported to Vietnam National University, Hanoi and resolved to adjust and supplement the admission combination according to method 100 (based on the results of the high school graduation exam).

Specifically, adding the combination C03 (Math, Literature, History) and C04 (Math, Literature, Geography) for all 26 training majors;

Add group C00 (Literature, History, Geography) to 17 training majors, including: Journalism, Social Work, Cinema and Popular Arts, Oriental Studies, Korean Studies, Management Science , Public Relations, Information Management, Tourism and Travel Services Management, Hotel Management, Office Management, International Studies, Psychology, Information-Library, Cultural Studies, Vietnam Studies and Sociology.

Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong affirmed that this adjustment completely complies with the regulations in the 2025 university and college admissions guidelines of the Ministry of Education and Training and the official dispatch guiding the implementation of regular university admissions in 2025 of Hanoi National University.

According to the current admission regulations, candidates only need to register for the major and school, the system will automatically consider admission according to the combination and method with the highest score. Adding the combination will help increase the chances of admission for candidates taking the high school graduation exam in 2025.

Previously, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi decided to eliminate 17 majors in the admission process. Instead, the school used combinations with English subjects such as D14 (Literature, History, English), D15 (Literature, Geography, English), D66 (Literature, Civic Education, English).
