Mr. Tran Huu Linh, General Director of the General Department of Market Management, guides on distinguishing some types of rice with protected trademarks.

On the morning of July 3, at 62 Trang Tien, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi , the General Department of Market Management opened the Exhibition Hall with the theme "Identifying Real and Fake Food." This is the 12th time the Exhibition Hall has opened to welcome visitors to learn about product information and equip them with knowledge to distinguish real and fake goods on the market.

According to the leader of the General Department of Market Management, in addition to the core task of inspecting and punishing violations, the market management force wishes to create a reliable address, helping visitors have the opportunity to directly learn about the products that the authorities detect and handle, thereby raising awareness, as well as experience in choosing goods and reliable addresses for safe shopping.

With the theme “Identifying Real and Fake Food”, the General Department of Market Management’s showroom displays over 400 products, the main highlights being food and foodstuffs such as Ong Cua rice, Ngon Nhat rice, Seng Cu rice, soybeans, Pediasure milk powder, Glucerna milk powder, Abbott Grow milk powder, Ensure Gold milk powder, Hubba Bubba candy, Nguyen Ninh green rice cake, honey and many other products in the beverage and functional food sectors. These are essential products, in high demand, consumed by people every day.

In particular, the Gallery dedicates a prominent space to display gold jewelry products that have violated regulations and been recently discovered and handled by market management forces.

These products mainly infringe on the intellectual property rights of registered brands such as Chanel, LV, Cartier... This is one of the hot areas, of particular interest to the Government and the people.

In addition, the showroom also displays products discovered and seized by the Market Management Departments of Hanoi, Ha Giang, Vinh Phuc, Bac Ninh, Ha Nam , Thanh Hoa provinces and cities in recent major inspections, such as counterfeit pens bearing the Thien Long brand, shampoos, fabric softeners bearing the Comfort, Romano, Sunsilk, OMO brands, etc., so that people can know and identify signs of violations.
