Exhibition of national achievements: Construction industry creates, connects, and strives

Participating in the National Achievement Exhibition with the theme "80 years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness journey", the Vietnamese Construction industry has continuously grown, creating a solid foundation for the country's construction, connecting infrastructure, space and people, contributing to shaping the national image, to enter a new era - the era of national growth.

Taking place from August 28 to September 5, 2025, at the 80-year National Achievement Exhibition, the Ministry of Construction hosted the introduction and display of the industry's achievements in two sub-areas: "Development Creation" and "Aspiration for the Sky."

With the theme “Creation-connection-growth”, the “Development Creation” sub-area was organized on an area of ​​480m2, introducing typical and outstanding achievements of the Construction industry associated with the cause of protecting, creating, building and developing the country in 80 years in fields such as civil construction, industry, infrastructure development, transportation (road, railway, maritime, inland waterway, aviation); planning, architecture, urban development, housing, construction materials, etc.

After 80 years of accompanying the country, the Vietnamese Construction industry has continuously grown, creating a solid foundation for the country's construction, connecting infrastructure, space and people, contributing to shaping the national image. With a vision of innovation and integration, the Construction industry has developed strongly, absorbed and mastered modern techniques and technologies, and together with the whole country entered a new era - the era of national development.

The separate exhibition area of ​​the Construction industry uses the symbol of a cable-stayed bridge to illustrate Rach Mieu, My Thuan, Bai Chay, Nhat Tan bridges... the century-old bridges symbolizing the achievements of innovation and integration of the Construction industry; demonstrating the level of capacity to master science and technology, the dynamism and creativity of the staff, engineers and workers of the Vietnamese Construction industry.

The exhibition area of ​​achievements in transport and construction infrastructure affirms the role of infrastructure in leading the way for development, creating roads, bridges, seaports, airports, metro lines, etc. stretching across the country, contributing to connecting regions, urban technical infrastructure transforming strongly, applying advanced construction technology, not only being the driving force for socio -economic growth but also becoming a symbol of the aspiration to rise up with Vietnamese intelligence and technology, towards a synchronous, smart, green and modern infrastructure network by 2045.

The exhibition area of ​​achievements in planning-architecture, urban-housing development displays maps, models, images, information... demonstrating planning work covering 100% of provinces and cities, serving as a basis for sustainable urban-rural space development.

The exhibition area of ​​achievements in state management - institutional improvement - digital transformation, the Construction sector will demonstrate the work of building and perfecting institutions and laws with many breakthroughs in innovating thinking in law-making, linking management with encouraging creativity and unlocking resources; reducing and simplifying investment and business conditions; strengthening decentralization and delegation of power according to the motto "locality decides - locality does - locality is responsible".

Thanks to the application of modern science and technology, the exhibition area of ​​achievements in technology and construction materials will introduce to visitors many advanced technologies such as new materials, green materials, energy saving, environmental protection and sustainable development; road surface recycling technology, modern bridge and tunnel construction, building information modeling (BIM), intelligent transportation systems (ITS) have been widely applied, helping to improve quality, shorten progress and optimize costs.

The IL-14 aircraft was once used as a special aircraft to serve President Ho Chi Minh.

The exhibition area with the theme “Aspiration for the Sky” has an exhibition space of about 10,000m2; of which the platform area is about 5,000m2, introducing and displaying the achievements of the Vietnamese Civil Aviation industry over the past 80 years. This area will be the “highlight” of the Exhibition because of its grand scale, content, attractive and diverse displayed products, and profound political, economic and social symbols and meanings.

The outdoor space is arranged with 4 realistic aircraft models representing each stage of the formation and development of the Vietnamese aviation industry, from the early days of the country's founding, to the process of strong international integration and moving towards the stage of aspiration to form an aviation industry of Vietnam including: IL-14 aircraft once used as a private jet to serve President Ho Chi Minh; Airbus A320 aircraft on display to demonstrate the ability to master technology, exploit and maintain new generation modern aircraft; TP-150 light aircraft designed and manufactured by Vietnamese enterprises; helicopters of Army Corps 18 serving defense tasks and socio-economic activities, tourism services, search and rescue, etc.

The overall design of the platform exhibition space is based on the image of the Lac Bird, an artistic image with many historical and cultural meanings, representing the Vietnamese national identity. The posture of spreading wings and flying to the sky is an expression of the dream of rising, the desire for freedom and the connection between heaven and earth.

In the exhibition space of the platform with the participation of 10 aviation enterprises, it is shown as a service chain at the airport (from check-in, security control, aircraft gates and public service spaces at the terminal...).

Enterprises will display models and modern equipment of the aviation industry, combined with applications of science and technology, digital transformation, artificial intelligence in civil aviation activities, and will combine experience products for visitors such as simulated cockpits, simulated models of air traffic control towers, displaying typical products in the field of manufacturing aircraft interior equipment, technical components and specialized maintenance and repair services...

The leader of the Ministry of Construction shared: "The exhibition of achievements in the construction industry is not only a testament to the stature and position of the industry after 80 years, but also a strong affirmation of the entire construction industry, opening a new journey of constant striving, creating momentum, creating position, creating force to enter a new era of development of the country".
