From August 15 to September 5, Vinh Long Museum organized a mobile exhibition with the theme "80 years of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam", introducing many precious images, documents and artifacts, contributing to showing the glorious journey of the nation in the struggle for independence, building and defending the Fatherland.
More than 127 documentary images and 47 artifacts are exhibited at 4 locations in the province, including: Uncle Ho Temple (Long Duc Ward), Khmer Ethnic Culture Museum (Nguyet Hoa Ward), Ben Tre Museum (An Hoi Ward), Vinh Long Museum (Long Chau Ward). The exhibition includes 3 themes: August Revolution 1945 - A historical turning point of the nation; 80 years of achievements and prospects; Vinh Long - the mark of development.
The exhibition vividly reflects the glorious historical journey of the country and Vinh Long province, affirming the great historical value of the August Revolution and the event of President Ho Chi Minh reading the Declaration of Independence giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The exhibition contributes to demonstrating the consensus and efforts of the entire people in the cause of national construction and development. This is also an opportunity to promote the image of the homeland in innovation and development.
