The National Achievements Exhibition in celebration of the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2nd with the theme "80 years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" opened on the morning of August 28th at the National Exhibition Center in Dong Anh commune ( Hanoi ).

The exhibition is a space connecting the past - present - future, between patriotism and development aspirations, between traditional values and modern technology.

Large, modern exhibition space

The theme throughout the exhibition “80 years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness” affirms that the key factors for all successes are the wise leadership of the Party, the effective management and administration of the State, the consensus, creativity and efforts of the business community and the entire nation in the cause of national construction and development over the past 80 years.

Honoring the patriotism, self-reliance and self-reliance of our nation. Inspiring and arousing the desire to develop a prosperous and happy country in the new period. The exhibition is not only for propaganda and education but also a cultural space, bringing interesting experiences to the people and international visitors.

This is the largest exhibition ever held, with the full participation of 28 ministries, central agencies, 34 localities and more than 110 large enterprises and economic groups with more than 230 booths across the entire area of the National Exhibition Center.

According to Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung, the exhibition is organized in an open, multi-level format, with the exhibition space logically arranged on an indoor and outdoor display area of nearly 260,000 square meters, including 3 main zones: General exhibition area at Kim Quy Exhibition Hall with the theme "Vietnam - Journey to the New Era"; Outdoor exhibition areas in the West, South and East courtyards with the theme "Integration and Development"; International exhibition area and 12 cultural industries with the theme "Integration and Creativity" at exhibition hall block A.

One of the highlights of this exhibition is the strong application of modern technology and the introduction of many creative display ideas appearing for the first time in a national-scale exhibition.

Virtual reality technology, augmented reality, interactive touch screens, 3D models and multimedia projections will be integrated synchronously in exhibition spaces, helping the public not only observe but also directly interact, explore and experience, helping to convey content in a more intuitive, vivid and accessible way.

With the theme “Vinh Long - Crystallizing the past - Creating the future”, the exhibition of Vinh Long province attracted a large number of visitors to learn and take souvenir photos. The space is designed to be modern, open, airy, harmoniously combining traditional displays (artifacts, images, documents) and displays applying digital technology 4.0 (AI, VR, Hologram, Dome 3D Mapping, Immersive Room).

This approach creates a vivid, interactive and personalized experience for visitors. Ms. Nguyen Thi Quyen Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Vinh Long province appreciated and acknowledged the efforts of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordinating with relevant agencies and units to develop a design and construction plan for the exhibition.

The application of modern technology has contributed to making the exhibition space intuitive and vivid, creating a difference and strong impression on visitors.

Through the organization of the exhibition, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung expects that communication, promotion and tourism connection work will also be implemented synchronously, in coordination with localities and travel businesses. He hopes that the exhibition will become a cultural highlight, along with a series of large-scale cultural and artistic events held before and during the exhibition, which will contribute to attracting a large number of domestic and international tourists.

Spread national pride

The National Exhibition and Fair Center is a modern and spacious project, contributing to realizing the Politburo's conclusion on planning the capital Hanoi, developing in the direction of "Cultural - Civilized - Modern" with a smart urban model, a creative, bright, green, clean and beautiful city.

The exhibition introduces the achievements of nearly 180 professions in various fields with many documents, materials, artifacts, machinery and equipment, documentaries, reports, vividly and quite comprehensively reflecting the outstanding achievements during the "80-year Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" of our nation under the leadership of the Party.

Speaking at the opening of the exhibition, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said that organizing the exhibition at the National Exhibition and Fair Center is not only a special highlight but also contributes to honoring the glorious historical journey, spreading patriotism, national pride, aspirations to rise up, affirming Vietnam's potential and position on the path of innovation, integration and development.

At the same time, it demonstrates the cultural tradition, the spirit of hard work, and effective production and business of the people and enterprises in all regions of the country. In particular, it depicts the image of the country and people of Vietnam with thousands of years of heroic history of the nation, the culture imbued with national identity and unity in diversity of 54 ethnic groups, the richness of products in all 3 regions of the country, the development and progress of all ministries, departments, branches, 34 provinces and cities over the past 80 years.

Looking back at the process of building the National Exhibition and Fair Center and the preparation and organization work, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh summarized it in 36 words: “Resolute leadership and direction - Bold, lightning-fast construction - Effective public-private partnership - Unique architecture and landscape - Modern technology and management - Large scale, high quality”.

According to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, all of these elements create a comprehensive and unique space, a panoramic picture of the entire process of fighting for national liberation, national reunification, fighting, working, studying and creating of our people under the leadership of the Party and beloved Uncle Ho.

The exhibition deeply reflects and is the crystallization of the contributions and dedication of the entire Party, people and army throughout the glorious and heroic 80-year history of the Vietnamese Revolution, with the very active, proactive and creative participation of Party agencies at the Central level, agencies of the National Assembly, all levels, sectors, localities and representatives of the business community.

The exhibition is also a “living school”, with a harmonious combination of tradition and modernity, bringing history closer and more accessible, so that today’s generations can better understand their origins, the great sacrifices and achievements of previous generations; thereby adding motivation, inspiration, and nurturing the aspiration to bring the country steadily into a new era, an era of wealth, civilization, prosperity, and prosperity, standing shoulder to shoulder with the world powers.
