Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan visits Vietnamese Heroic Mother Le Thi Chi
On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on the morning of July 25, the Central Working Delegation led by Ms. Vo Thi Anh Xuan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President, visited and presented gifts to policy families in Ca Mau province.
The delegation visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers Ma Thi Kich (Ba Dieu Hamlet, Ly Van Lam Ward) and Le Thi Chi (Hamlet 8, Ly Van Lam Ward); visited the families of war invalids Hua Thanh Su (81% disabled, infected with toxic chemicals, residing in Hamlet 4, Ly Van Lam Ward), Huynh Van Trung and Dang Minh Thoi (both residing in Tan Thanh Ward).
On behalf of the Party and State leaders, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan visited the health and life of the heroic Vietnamese mothers and families of war invalids; expressed gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of previous generations for the independence, freedom of the nation and the happiness of the people.

“Ca Mau currently has more than 21,000 families of meritorious people and policy beneficiaries. From now until September 2, the locality needs to comprehensively review the social security situation, paying special attention to the health of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, war invalids and the economic life of policy beneficiaries’ families. This is an important task that needs to be given top priority,” Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan noted.
The Vice President hopes that mothers will continue to live happily and healthily, and be a spiritual support for their children and grandchildren. Families with meritorious services will continue to promote revolutionary traditions, be shining examples in the community, actively propagate and encourage their children and grandchildren to strictly follow the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws and policies; contributing to building the homeland of Ca Mau to become increasingly rich, beautiful and civilized.

On this occasion, the delegation offered flowers and incense at the Memorial of President Ho Chi Minh; offered incense at the Temple of 10 Heroes and Martyrs of Hon Khoai Uprising; laid wreaths and offered incense at the Memorial and burned incense at the graves at the Martyrs Cemetery of Ca Mau province.

* On the morning of July 25, Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quang Phuong, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, and the working delegation visited, encouraged and presented gifts to outstanding policy families in Dien Bien province.

Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong visited 7 families of policy beneficiaries including: Mr. Nguyen Viet Diem, a 23% disabled veteran, who was imprisoned by the enemy and a Dien Bien soldier; Mr. Pham Van Ngan, a 41% disabled veteran, a former soldier who directly participated in the Dien Bien Phu campaign in 1954; Mr. Tran Van Quy, a 32% disabled veteran; Mr. Le Ngoc Tinh, a 61% disabled veteran; Mr. Nguyen Chinh Vinh, a resistance activist who was exposed to 64% toxic chemicals; Ms. Nguyen Thi Beu, who raised two martyrs and Mr. Lo Trong Dai, a 91% disabled veteran.
At the families he visited, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong kindly asked about their health and life, and expressed his deep gratitude for the contributions and sacrifices of previous generations in the revolutionary cause. The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly hoped that the families of policy beneficiaries would continue to uphold their traditions, be a strong spiritual support for the younger generation, and contribute to the development of their homeland and country.

Previously, on the afternoon of July 24, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong and the delegation offered incense at the Memorial Site of General Vo Nguyen Giap (Muong Phang commune), the Martyrs' Temple at the Dien Bien Phu battlefield and the A1 Martyrs' Cemetery.
* On the morning of July 25, Party Central Committee member and Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh visited and presented gifts to families of policy beneficiaries and people with revolutionary contributions in the two communes of Quynh Luu and Phu Long, Ninh Binh province.
At the communes, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh was moved to send her warm regards and most respectful feelings to the wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, relatives of martyrs, and people with revolutionary contributions in Ninh Binh province, including the two communes of Quynh Luu and Phu Long.
