BTO-On December 31, the Open Open Chess Tournament to celebrate Spring - 2023 took place at Liit Restaurant and Event (Phu Thuy, Phan Thiet City). Nearly 50 players from Phan Thiet Chess Clubs and districts and towns in the province participated in the tournament.

The Chess tournament is played in the form of the Swiss System of 7 games, the playing time for each game, each player is 15 minutes. How to calculate points for 1 game: Win 1 point, draw 0.5 point, lose 0 point . Total points after 7 games , if tied, will be calculated according to the progressive coefficient.
After a day of competition, the Organizing Committee held a closing ceremony and awarded prizes at the Liit Restaurant and Event . Accordingly, the champion of this Upside Down Chess Tournament belonged to player Le Van Tam (Phan Thiet), the second prize belonged to player Tran Xuan Nghia (Tuy Phong), the third prize belonged to Huong Ngoc Truong (Tuy Phong), in addition to 5 consolation prizes.
