On August 20, the People's Committee of Tu Mo Rong commune ( Quang Ngai province) organized the first "zero-dong" market at the newly established Central Market of the commune.
This is not only a social security activity but also opens up opportunities to promote agricultural products, boost commodity production and digital transformation in agriculture of the Xo Dang people here.
At the "0 Dong" market, there are 7 booths where officials, civil servants, cooperative enterprises and people provide free goods such as agricultural products, vegetables, rice, clothes, shoes, books and many other essential goods.

All goods are produced by the Tu Mo Rong Commune People's Committee, calling for socialization from businesses, cooperatives and the Xo Dang people themselves, and brought to support and share with households in difficult circumstances.
People will be able to choose fresh vegetables, new sandals, bags of rice or shirts without having to pay, bringing joy, a warm atmosphere, and the sentiment of the highlands.
In addition to the “zero-dong” stalls, the market is also a place to display and sell agricultural products and medicinal herbs produced by people in Tu Mo Rong commune and neighboring communes. This activity not only creates an opportunity to promote local specialties, but also encourages the habit of producing goods, helping people increase their income and develop a sustainable economy .
Also at the fair, the People's Committee of Tu Mo Rong commune and the commune's organizations called for and presented 1,622 gifts of necessities, supported 10,000 pine seedlings and 17 drilling machines for planting coffee and fruit trees for 17 villages in the area, serving the planting of coffee and other crops with high economic value. This is one of the efforts to improve the efficiency of agricultural production, help people improve their income and stabilize their lives, and develop the economy after the Commune Party Congress...

Mr. Tran Quoc Huy - Chairman of Tu Mo Rong Commune People's Committee said that with 95% of the population being Xo Dang ethnic group, living mainly on agriculture and growing medicinal herbs, product consumption is still a big difficulty. The "0 VND" market not only supports poor households but is also an opportunity for people to apply technology, build typical agricultural product brands, and improve their lives.

A highlight of the "zero-dong" market is that Tu Mo Rong organizations and unions have implemented training activities and provided guidance on digital literacy, helping people, especially the Xo Dang people, access technology and improve economic efficiency.
In particular, Chairman of Tu Mo Rong Commune People's Committee Tran Quoc Huy guided and directly supported people to practice livestreaming to sell and promote agricultural products and medicinal herbs on social networking platforms.
“The commune will consider organizing an annual market once a month, creating a stable destination for agricultural product consumption, increasing income and developing a sustainable rural economy,” Mr. Huy added.

In addition, the government and unions of Tu Mo Rong commune organize and guide people to carry out administrative procedures online, helping to save time and improve the efficiency of accessing public services.
Departments propagate and guide people to identify and avoid online scams, ensuring safety when using technology. On this occasion, the Commune Youth Union organizes folk games, creating a joyful atmosphere, connecting the community, contributing to preserving traditional cultural identity.
Mr. Vo Trung Manh - Secretary of the Party Committee of Tu Mo Rong commune shared that the "0 Dong" market is a practical work, a step to concretize the resolution of the Party Congress of Tu Mo Rong commune after implementing the policy of 2-level government, a bridge of culture, technology and humanity, contributing to building a united and sustainably developed Xo Dang community.
