Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Council Nguyen Quang Tuan presented the decision to appoint the Chief Prosecutor and Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the People's Procuracy of Region 1.

Attending the event were members of the City Party Committee: Nguyen Quang Tuan, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Council; Dang Ngoc Tran, Head of the City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee; Nguyen Chi Tai, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee.

According to the new resolutions and laws recently passed by the National Assembly , the District People's Procuracy will officially dissolve and cease operations from July 1, 2025. At the same time, regional People's Procuracies will be established and put into operation.

In Hue City, from July 1, the activities of the district, town and city People's Procuracies will be dissolved and terminated to establish 4 regional People's Procuracies, including: Region 1 (Thuan Hoa district and Phu Vang district), Region 2 (Phu Xuan district and Quang Dien district), Region 3 (Huong Tra town, Phong Dien town and A Luoi district), Region 4 (Huong Thuy town and Phu Loc district).

Along with the formation of the People's Procuracies of 4 regions, on June 26, 2025, the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy signed decisions to appoint the positions of Chief Justice and Deputy Chief Justice of the People's Procuracies of regions in Hue City from July 1, 2025.

Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Chi Tai presented the decision to appoint the Chief Prosecutor and Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the People's Procuracy of Region 2.

Speaking at the ceremony, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Chi Tai said that the reorganization of district-level People's Procuracies into regional People's Procuracies is a strategic step, demonstrating the determination of the Party, State and the People's Procuracy in streamlining the apparatus and improving the effectiveness of judicial activities.

This is not only an organizational adjustment but also a fundamental change in the quality of law enforcement, towards a modern, effective judiciary that protects justice and human rights. At the same time, the regional organization is also consistent with the new management trend - forming large-scale administrative units with high professional capacity and comprehensive inter-sectoral coordination capabilities.

“In the face of increasingly high demands for judicial work, the City Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee will continue to closely direct, closely coordinate and synchronize with the City People's Procuracy, as well as regional People's Procuracies in organization, direction and operation; create all favorable conditions in terms of mechanisms, policies, resources and promote the application of information technology to help the People's Procuracy at all levels maximize their capacity, improve work efficiency and excellently complete all assigned tasks", Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Chi Tai emphasized.
