Speaking at the program, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Children's Fund Nguyen Thi Hien said: Implementing the project "Raising awareness of autism in Vietnamese children", the Vietnam Children's Fund has signed an agreement with Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company (PNJ) with a total support value of more than 10 billion VND, in the period from 2019 to 2025, to deploy the editing and publishing of a standard set of documents on supporting autistic children in Vietnam. After 6 years of implementing the project, the standard set of documents on supporting autistic children in Vietnam is presented in a logical sequence, contributing to helping parents fully understand their children's inappropriate behavior, prepare a calm mind when their children have inappropriate behavior, observe children to find the function of the behavior, thereby providing intervention measures based on the function of the behavior according to strategies with scientific evidence.
Many staff and teachers of autism intervention centers and parents of children with autism commented that this document has provided practical and effective strategies to help parents support their children when they have inappropriate behaviors, creating conditions for autistic children to access the most scientific and effective care conditions.

In particular, during the Month of Action for Children, with the participation of the Center for Social Work and the Hanoi Children's Fund - one of the "extended arms" of the Vietnam Children's Fund, along with the support of Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company, 30 autistic children in difficult circumstances were supported at the program, each child received 2 million VND in cash and 1 gift. The total cost of the program was 64.5 million VND.

Accompanying the project "Raising awareness of autism in Vietnamese children" for nearly 6 years, we are happy and fortunate to see the contributions of each member of the company being used effectively, providing support in both material and scientific knowledge for autistic children, contributing to creating a foundation to help autistic children have the opportunity to develop skills, gradually become independent in life, and have the opportunity to integrate into the community.

Sharing at the program, Director of the Hanoi Center for Social Work and Children's Fund Nguyen Van Trieu said: Since its establishment, the Hanoi Center for Social Work and Children's Fund have always done a good job of supporting children, from consulting, consulting, to intervention and assistance. Every year, more than 20,000 children benefit from the Center's practical support activities, such as: Study support, long-term sponsorship, gift giving on holidays and Tet. The Center has truly become a reliable bridge for kind-hearted people to reach disadvantaged children.
In the first 6 months of the year, the Center has supported more than 4,000 children in special circumstances and difficult circumstances, with a budget of nearly 5 billion VND, through activities of providing long-term support, regular support, scholarships and gifts to children. This is a remarkable result for the efforts of the Board of Directors and staff of the Center.
