Writer and journalist Hoang Du - Editor-in-Chief of Literature and Arts Times awarded the First Prize to author Mau Tue An. |
Surpassing many high-quality works, rich in both form and content, the First Prize was awarded to child author Mau Tue An, an 11-year-old girl who is also a talented child MC.
Instead of choosing the traditional writing format, she boldly expressed her views and thoughts through a creative, highly expressive video . With her honest words, clear eyes and natural style, Mau Tue An not only conveyed the message about the role of journalism in today's spiritual life, but also aroused positive emotions and beliefs in viewers. Her work is a clear demonstration that journalism is not only on paper, but also exists vividly through modern media - where emotions, thoughts and human values are spread convincingly.
In addition to the First Prize, the two Second Prizes of the contest were also awarded to two young authors: Nguyen Diep Chi and Duong Bao Nam (pictured above) . Although still very young, both of them have demonstrated their ability to express themselves clearly, confidently and with outstanding creativity through the form of video sharing, a modern choice, suitable for today's multimedia communication trends.
Third Prize (photo above) was awarded to three authors: Bui Quynh Mai, Nguyen Thi Thanh Thao and Cong Huy Quang. The Third Prize-winning works stand out for their maturity in thinking and multi-dimensional approach to social issues. These are also works that contribute to enriching the flow of creative journalism, harmoniously combining topicality and the sophistication of literature and art.
The Encouragement Prizes were awarded to authors Doan Thi Ha Phuong, Truong An Nhu, Hoang Thu Phuong, Nguyen Van Khanh and Kieu Thu Huong. Although they did not win the highest prize, the works in the Encouragement Prize group were all very personal, expressed unique perspectives, and most importantly, were inquisitive and eager to learn – true to the goal of inspiring creativity that the contest set out.
The contest is not only an opportunity to honor writers with professional competence, but also a place to discover and nurture young talents - the future owners of humane, intellectual and creative journalism. This year's entries have partly shown the strong vitality and positive spread of the spirit of journalism - literature in the community, especially among the youth.
