Summary and award ceremony of the 2025 Traditional Photography Contest "Soc Trang homeland firmly steps into the new era with the country"

STO - On the morning of June 29, at the Soc Trang Provincial Literature and Arts Association, the Closing and Awarding Ceremony of the 2025 Traditional Photography Contest took place with the theme "Soc Trang homeland firmly steps into a new era with the country".

After 3 months of launching, the contest attracted 167 works by 18 professional and non-professional authors living and working in the province. The contest organizers awarded 1 first prize to the work High-tech shrimp farming (Hong Bao Toan); 2 second prizes to the works Rehearsal (Giang Chi Bao), City at night (Hua Tan Hung); 3 third prizes to the works Pink trumpet flower road (Huynh Trinh Vien Phuong), Decision punch (Tran Thuan), Dutch tourists discover Western culture (Vo Thi Giao Linh); along with 5 consolation prizes and 70 exhibition certificates.

According to Photographer Dinh Cong Tam - Head of the Vietnam Photographic Artists Association in the province, the theme of this year's contest closely follows the comprehensive development situation in many fields of the province. Most of the works reflect the theme of the contest, the authors have a more vivid, sophisticated and realistic perspective on life, the works not only have high aesthetic value but also demonstrate the spirit of hard work, the solidarity of ethnic groups and the aspiration of Soc Trang in the integration and development period. The contest is not only a playground for photography lovers but also a bridge to promote the beauty, potential and growth of Soc Trang to the public inside and outside the province.
