On August 12, at the 2nd Session (Special Session) of the 10th term People's Council of Da Nang City, term 2021 - 2026, the City People's Council passed a Resolution on the zoning plan for the construction of a tourist area along National Highway 14G in the western ecological zone, scale 1/2,000.

According to the project, the planning area in Phu Tuc village (Hoa Vang commune) has an area of about 339 hectares. The north and south border the mountainous area of Hoa Vang commune, the east and west border National Highway 14G. The planned population is about 1,000 people.

The main functional subdivisions include: a resort area combined with high-quality services at Nui Than Tai Hot Spring Park, an expanded area and a new planning area northeast of National Highway 14G; a community eco-tourism area combined with outdoor experiences and activities at Hoa Phu Thanh, Lai Thieu, Suoi Hoa, Doc Kien, and a new planning area south of National Highway 14G and northwest of the planning area...

Besides, there is a public service area for displaying, exhibiting, and shopping for OCOP products, as well as a place for exchanging and trading agricultural products for the community and tourists.

With the orientation of developing into a high-quality eco-tourism and resort area associated with preserving natural landscapes, the above project aims to form adventure, eco-tourism, resort and discovery destinations, taking advantage of natural conditions, connecting a chain of destinations along National Highway 14G such as: Nui Than Tai Hot Spring Park, Hoa Phu Thanh tourist area, Lai Thieu tourist area, Suoi Hoa tourist area...

The People's Council of Da Nang City assigned the People's Committee of the City to organize approval and implementation in accordance with legal regulations, while ensuring consistency, completeness and accuracy of data, boundaries, current status of land and infrastructure.

The Standing Committee of the People's Council, committees and delegates of the City People's Council will closely monitor the implementation of the resolution, ensuring that the project is realized synchronously, feasibly, and maximizes the potential of eco-tourism in the west of Da Nang.
