The official welcoming ceremony for Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his wife and the Vietnamese delegation was solemnly held at Seongnam military airport.

At the airport, the Director of the Protocol Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Korea and the Vietnamese Ambassador to Korea boarded the plane to welcome the Prime Minister and his wife.

As Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh stepped onto the podium, the military band played the Vietnamese national anthem solemnly.

The Captain of the Korean Honor Guard then saluted and invited the Prime Minister to review the Honor Guard, consisting of representatives of the Korean military forces.

The Prime Minister walked on the red carpet to greet Korean officials, staff of the Embassy, and the Vietnamese community in Korea in a warm welcome.

During his visit from June 30 to July 3, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh is expected to hold talks and meet with senior leaders of South Korea; attend and speak at the Business Forum, the Tourism Promotion and Cultural Cooperation Forum, and the Vietnam-South Korea Labor Forum.

He also held discussions with leaders of Korean economic organizations and with Korean intellectuals and scientists on semiconductors and artificial intelligence.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh also had meetings with representatives of leaders of several leading Korean economic groups; visited the Embassy and met with representatives of the Vietnamese community in Korea; visited a Vietnamese-Korean multicultural family; delivered a policy speech at Seoul National University; and visited Samsung's semiconductor factory.
