Previously, from June 11 to 14, due to the impact of storm No. 1, Quang Tri province suffered a very heavy to extremely heavy rain over a large area, with rainfall ranging from 450 - 600 mm within 72 hours, some places exceeding 770 mm. Heavy rain concentrated in a short period of time caused rivers to rise rapidly, causing serious flooding in many areas, especially in southern districts such as Hai Lang, Trieu Phong and Dong Ha city, causing extremely heavy damage to people and property.
