At the press conference announcing the results of the first 6 months of the year of the Ministry of Public Security on the afternoon of July 7, Lieutenant Colonel Vu Thanh Tung, Deputy Director of the Police Department for Investigation of Crimes of Corruption, Economy, and Smuggling, said that Mr. Do Anh Tu, former Vice Chairman of Tien Phong Commercial Joint Stock Bank (TPBank - stock code: TPB) was prosecuted for the crime of Fraudulent appropriation of property.
In addition to Mr. Tu, 14 other people were also prosecuted for this crime, including Mr. Nguyen Ho Nam - former Chairman of Bamboo Capital Group Joint Stock Company.
As of the latest information announcement in March, former Chairman of Bamboo Capital Group Joint Stock Company (stock code: BCG) Nguyen Ho Nam was still a major shareholder of the company. He held 81 million shares in Bamboo Capital, equivalent to 9.21% of capital.
Bamboo Airways has a new chairman of the board of directors
Bamboo Airways has just announced that Mr. Pham Ngoc Vinh will hold the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors (BOD) for the 2023-2028 term. Previously, in an extraordinary meeting on July 5, 2 members of the Board of Directors of Bamboo Airways were dismissed, while Mr. Pham Ngoc Vinh and Mr. Vuong Cong Duc were elected to the Board of Directors.
The General Meeting of Shareholders unanimously elected Mr. Pham Ngoc Vinh as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Mr. Vinh will replace the role held by Mr. Phan Dinh Tue for nearly 1.5 years. Previously, Mr. Tue submitted a resignation letter to focus on more important tasks.
Mr. Pham Ngoc Vinh, born in 1970, is introduced to have more than 25 years of experience in the field of investment and real estate business, holding senior leadership positions in many enterprises. He also previously advised the Board of Directors of this airline.
