At noon on July 23, Mr. Ho Ba Cha, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nam Can Commune ( Nghe An Province) said that after many hours of searching through the night, at about 8:00 a.m. on July 23, the local government, Nam Can Commune Police and other functional forces discovered the body of Ms. LYD (born in 1959, residing in Huoi Poc village, Nam Can commune).
The area where the victim's body was found is about 300m from the scene of the incident.
Currently, local authorities and functional agencies have brought the victim's body back to the family to organize a burial ceremony according to local customs.
Previously, at around 4:00 p.m. on July 22, while entering the production area, Ms. LYD crossed a stream and suddenly encountered a large flood and was swept away, going missing.

According to Mr. Ho Ba Cha, Chairman of Nam Can Commune People's Committee, currently in the area, the rainfall has decreased and the flood water level is receding.
However, due to the impact of heavy rain and floods, many roads leading to some local villages have been eroded and cut off, and some villages are isolated. Some areas have lost power and phone signal.
Currently, local authorities and functional forces are making efforts to help people overcome the consequences of floods.
