Quan Hoa district started building a house according to Directive No. 22/CT-TU of the Provincial Party Standing Committee for the family of Ms. Cao Thi Soi, Nam Xuan commune.
Also because of its extremely important position and glorious and heroic historical tradition, Thanh Hoa province was honored to welcome President Ho Chi Minh to visit and work many times. On his first visit to our province in Rung Thong (February 20, 1947), he emphasized: "Thanh Hoa province wants to become a model province, it will definitely be possible, because it has a large population, a large land area, and a lot of wealth...". Taking his teachings to heart, cadres, party members, and people of all ethnic groups in the province have strived to compete, created many miracles, and made worthy contributions to the cause of national liberation struggle, construction and development of the country.
Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style are the fine traditional moral values of the nation, the quintessence of human culture, smoothly combined with the advanced moral ideology of the times. In the work "Revolutionary morality", Uncle Ho wrote: "Morality is not something that falls from the sky, it is acquired through daily persistent practice, like jade that becomes brighter the more it is polished, gold that becomes purer the more it is refined". Therefore, studying and following Uncle Ho is the way for each of us to understand the greatest lesson in his ideology, morality and style, so that each cadre and party member is increasingly worthy of the role and mission of leading the Vietnamese revolution and the trust of the people.
President Ho Chi Minh always promoted and valued the role and strength of the People in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland. For him, "in the sky, nothing is more precious than the People", so whatever is beneficial to the people must be done with all our efforts. Deeply imbued with Uncle Ho's advice, Thanh Hoa has always cared for the disadvantaged and vulnerable to bring a better life to everyone. With the consistent spirit of bringing "a warm home to my people", in recent years, Thanh Hoa has implemented many mechanisms and policies to encourage and support 183 households living on the river to move to the shore to settle down and make a living with an amount of more than 71 billion VND. In particular, the policy of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses according to Directive No. 42/CT-TTg of the Government and Directive No. 22/CT-TU of the Provincial Party Standing Committee is being widely and effectively implemented, becoming a material support and a support of trust to help disadvantaged people rise up and take control of their lives.
With the highest political determination, together with the spirit of acceleration and breakthrough, by May 21, the province had started construction of 12,050 houses amid the joy and bright smiles of happiness of the poor, policy beneficiaries, and people in difficult circumstances. Along with taking care of the lives of the disadvantaged, Thanh Hoa has focused on implementing the program of building new rural areas, advanced new rural areas, and model new rural areas. Up to now, the whole province has 377 communes meeting new rural standards; 2 districts and 116 communes meeting advanced new rural standards; 27 communes meeting model new rural standards. "Living villages" everywhere can be seen as the image of "model villages" and "model districts" that Uncle Ho once mentioned. There, the living standards and quality of life of rural residents are being brought closer to that of urban residents thanks to policies on economic development, transport infrastructure, and social security. The cultural and spiritual life of the people is also improved day by day, aiming at the goal of prosperity and happiness for everyone.
Following Uncle Ho first of all means following the virtue of steadfastness for goals and ideals, the simplicity but exemplary lifestyle and especially the viewpoint of being close to the people, listening to the voice of the people. With that spirit, in the 10 years of implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the Politburo, all levels, sectors, localities, agencies and units in the province have chosen key and breakthrough tasks to implement with many creative, effective and influential ways. Typically: Yen Dinh district always promotes "self-examination and self-correction" to ensure the requirement of "clear people, clear work, clear agencies"; Nghi Son town focuses on "enhancing the responsibility, vanguard and exemplary nature of cadres and party members, especially leaders at all levels, sectors and organizations from district to grassroots level"; Nhu Thanh district focuses on "rectifying and overcoming the stagnant, weak, and unfocused working style of some leaders and managers, who are not close to the people"; Quan Son district focuses on "eliminating backward thoughts, farming practices, and living habits that have been deeply rooted in the lives of ethnic minorities in the district"; Thanh Hoa city focuses on building the image of "city residents who speak good words, do good deeds, and act friendly"; the women's association focuses on building the image of officials who are "close to members, understand members, listen to members, speak so that members understand, and make members trust"...
In the process of implementing the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle, Thanh Hoa has had many flexible and creative approaches, typically linking the implementation of Directive No. 05-CT/TW with the development of model titles. Up to now, the whole province has had 27 communes meeting the model NTM standards; 818 agencies, units, 30 enterprises meeting the model criteria; the rate of agencies, units, communes, wards and towns meeting the model criteria is 27.6% (exceeding the target assigned by the Provincial People's Council resolution). In addition, the implementation of Directive No. 05-CT/TW is also associated with the fight against, prevention and repulsion of signs of degradation in political ideology, morality and lifestyle among cadres, party members and the people. From there, building moral qualities, healthy lifestyles, diligence, thrift, integrity, impartiality and selflessness among cadres and party members. At the same time, overcome and prevent the disease of achievement, formality, and ostentation; promote the fight against bureaucracy, corruption, and waste; strengthen discipline and order in Party, State, and mass organizations at all levels... Thereby, contributing to building trust among the people and being highly appreciated by the people.

In order to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in depth and bring about practical results, or to apply and practice his ideology, morality and style in real life, in the period of 2016-2021, the Provincial Party Standing Committee has linked the implementation of Directive No. 05-CT/TW with the tasks of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, building the Party and the political system. Specifically, in 2016, it focused on leading the development, promulgation and completion of institutions to concretize the Resolution of the 18th Provincial Party Congress, including 5 key programs and 4 breakthroughs. In 2017, it focused on leading and directing the promotion of attracting investment capital sources, strongly developing enterprises associated with administrative reform, and improving the efficiency of the political system. In 2018, focus on leading and directing the entire political system, mobilizing the strength of the entire people and social resources to promote strong socio-economic development. In 2019, focus on leading and directing innovation, streamlining the organization of the political system to be streamlined, effective and efficient according to Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW, Resolution No. 19-NQ/TW of the Party Central Committee and Resolution No. 37-NQ/TW of the Politburo. In particular, during the 2020-2025 term, the Provincial Party Standing Committee has developed a project and the Politburo has issued Resolution No. 58-NQ/TW, dated August 5, 2020 on building and developing Thanh Hoa province to 2030, with a vision to 2045; The National Assembly issued Resolution No. 37/2021/QH15 on piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Thanh Hoa province; the Government approved the Thanh Hoa Provincial Planning for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2045... These are milestones, "policy levers", and extremely important "fulcrums" for Thanh Hoa to make a breakthrough in development and achieve new miracles, contributing more to the overall development of the country.
The clearest evidence is that in 2024, the growth rate of gross regional domestic product (GRDP) is estimated to reach 12.16%, ranking second in the country (after Bac Giang province). GRDP per capita is estimated to reach 3,494 USD, an increase of 427 USD compared to 2023. This is also a year of "bumper harvest" for the province's budget, with a "record" figure of more than 56,000 billion VND, the highest ever... Many large industrial and transport projects have been and are being implemented, contributing to strengthening the socio-economic infrastructure and increasing the province's industrial production capacity. Social security is guaranteed. In the fields of culture, education, and high-performance sports, Thanh Hoa has made its mark with many outstanding achievements, ranking among the leading provinces and cities in the country... The achievements that Thanh Hoa has achieved in the 10 years of implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the Politburo have been gradually realizing the aspiration of becoming a "model" province as beloved Uncle Ho always wished for, while affirming Thanh Hoa's position on the country's socio-economic development ladder.
Vietnam is entering a new era - the era of national development. Thanh Hoa has made worthy contributions to that proud and glorious journey. In the new period, the Party Committee, government, army and people of all ethnic groups in Thanh Hoa province, together with the whole country, vow to forever follow the path that President Ho Chi Minh and our Party have chosen, to faithfully continue, excellently inherit and constantly develop the glorious revolutionary cause. With today's new position and strength, Thanh Hoa is even more confident in its path to the future: Realizing the aspiration of being rich, prosperous, and "exemplary" as President Ho Chi Minh's last wish.
