Supporting environmental workers' children to go to school

On July 2, the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of An Giang Urban Environment Joint Stock Company held the 30th Ton Duc Thang Scholarship awarding ceremony awarded by the An Giang Provincial Labor Federation to children of union members and workers in difficult circumstances and with good academic and training achievements in the 2024-2025 school year.

Deputy General Director, Chairman of the Trade Union of An Giang Urban Environment Joint Stock Company Dang Anh Dung awarded 6 Ton Duc Thang Scholarships for the 30th time to children of environmental workers, each worth from 2 million VND to 2.5 million VND.

Deputy General Director, Chairman of the Trade Union of An Giang Urban Environment Joint Stock Company Dang Anh Dung said that the Ton Duc Thang Scholarship awarding ceremony is one of the practical activities to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels, term 2025 - 2030, celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2025), the 137th birthday of President Ton Duc Thang (August 20, 1888 - August 20, 2025), respond to the Month of Action for Children and the Month of Action forEducation in 2025.

“Each scholarship is not worth much, but it helps union members and workers buy supplies and learning tools for their children to prepare for the new school year. This is a source of encouragement for the children to strive to study well to become good children and good students in accordance with the Party and State's policy on building a learning society.
