In the flow of national history, independence and freedom have always been the aspirations that many generations of Vietnamese people have sacrificed their blood to preserve and protect. To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Lao Cai youth have organized many meaningful activities, expressing gratitude to previous generations. Thereby affirming the responsibility to continue the tradition of patriotism and national pride in the new era.
These days, from the lowlands to the highlands, everywhere you can see the bright red of the national flag flying, blending with the excited atmosphere towards the great national holiday. For Lao Cai youth, National Day September 2 is an opportunity to express their responsibility and affection for the country in their own way.

In Ta Van commune these days, many union members and young people have participated in the construction of a road with colorful flags and flowers to celebrate the great national holiday. Carried out in Ta Van Day 2 village, the project is over 400 m long, worth over 20 million VND from socialized funding.
Mr. San Van Phuc - Secretary of the Youth Union of Ta Van commune said: "With the spirit of enthusiasm, excitement, clearly showing the love for the homeland, country and the desire to contribute of the youth in the construction and development of the locality, we wish to contribute a small effort to create a vibrant movement, towards this important anniversary."
The flag-and-flower route is not only an aesthetic decoration, but also a symbol of patriotism and national pride; expressing deep gratitude to generations of fathers and brothers who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland; educating the younger generation about the responsibility to preserve and promote revolutionary traditions.

In Hanh Phuc commune, the atmosphere of celebrating National Day was also expressed through many practical activities. Along with hanging the national flag on the main roads, union members and youth also organized environmental sanitation, decorated the grounds of the commune’s martyrs memorial, organized union activities in residential areas, etc.
These activities have contributed to beautifying the countryside, while fostering in the young generation the tradition of "remembering the source of water" and appreciating the value of peace today.
We identify that the activities on September 2nd are not only celebratory but must become concrete actions, associated with the lives of union members and youth. Through experiences and activities, young people will understand more deeply the value of National Day and turn that awareness into practical action.

On this occasion, to celebrate National Day September 2, Van Chan Commune Youth Union mobilized hundreds of union members, youth and children to participate in the flag-raising ceremony and cultural and sports activities in Giang B village, contributing to spreading the spirit of patriotism in this difficult highland area.

Along with that, in all localities in the province, the Youth Union also simultaneously deployed many meaningful activities, such as: thematic activities, sports - cultural exchanges, pilgrimages to red addresses... creating a vivid picture of youth towards National Day.
The common point in the above activities is the connection between the spirit of gratitude and the desire to contribute. Today's Lao Cai youth not only remember the great contributions of the previous generation who died for independence, but also clearly realize their responsibility in the context of the country's deep integration.
Towards the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Lao Cai province's youth have carried out many propaganda activities; organized thematic talks and seminars; combined practice and experience, visited historical sites, interacted with historical witnesses, organized many "Repaying gratitude" activities...

Along with that are emulation movements, carrying out many projects and tasks, such as: responding to the online contest "Proud of Vietnam"; organizing a multi-platform communication campaign "Proud of Vietnam"...
This is not only an opportunity to look back on a glorious historical journey but also an opportunity for every Vietnamese citizen, especially the young generation of Lao Cai province, to gain a deeper understanding of the value of independence and freedom, thereby striving to study, practice, and contribute to the prosperous development of the country.
Youth movements on this occasion do not stop at activities but focus on depth, aiming at sustainable spread in awareness and action.
We hope that the love for the Fatherland and the aspiration to build the homeland will continue to be nurtured, so that today's young generation can continue the tradition of patriotism and national pride, becoming the pioneering force in the journey to create a rich and civilized future for the homeland and country.
The young generation of Lao Cai has been affirming its bravery in the new era, both preserving and promoting traditions and proactively absorbing the quintessence of world knowledge and culture. Each achievement and activity contributing to the community is a vivid proof of the spirit of shock, volunteerism and dedication of young people continuing the spirit of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.
Since the beginning of the year, the Youth Union at all levels in the province has completed nearly 3,000 youth projects and tasks with a total value of over 8 billion VND. The activities focus on grassroots, building new rural areas, civilized urban areas, creative startups, etc.
