Carry out well ethnic and religious work in the area

The working delegation of the Provincial Steering Committee for Religious Affairs worked with the communes of Bo Sinh, Huoi Mot, Nam Ty and Chieng So.

Huoi Mot commune has 12,349 households; Bo Sinh commune has 16,427 households; Chieng So commune has 17,145 households; Nam Ty commune has 16,679 households; with Kinh, Thai, Mong, Kho Mu and Xinh Mun ethnic groups living together. After the two-level government was put into operation, the Party committees and authorities of the communes thoroughly implemented documents on ethnic and religious affairs, building the great national unity bloc; propagandized the people to well implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies; State management work was strengthened, meeting the tasks of belief and religious affairs in the new situation.

Religious activities take place stably; religious dignitaries and followers comply with the regulations of the Party, the State and local regulations, actively participate in patriotic emulation movements, contribute to the good implementation of socio-economic development programs and tasks, maintain political stability, religious security and social order of the locality.

At the meeting, the communes recommended that the working group continue to focus on investing in repairing and upgrading traffic infrastructure, promoting trade; consider building public housing at the commune headquarters to support officials to work with peace of mind; invest in an internet system to serve management work; promptly issue documents guiding ethnic and religious work in accordance with the 2-level government model; and open professional training courses for officials working in religious work.

The working group requested the 4 communes to continue to focus on leading and directing the implementation of socio -economic development tasks, improving the material and spiritual life of the people; improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of grassroots party organizations, consolidating the political system at the grassroots level, and improving the quality of party cell activities in the villages. At the same time, coordinate with functional forces to continue to firmly grasp the area, carry out religious and ethnic work well, promptly resolve arising issues, and maintain security and order in the area.

The delegation presented gifts to prestigious people in Nam Pu village, Huoi Mot commune.

On this occasion, the Working Group presented and transferred 19 gifts (worth 2 million VND/gift) to prestigious people affected by floods in Huoi Mot and Bo Sinh communes.
