Accordingly, at 9:00 a.m. on September 16 (local time), Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the Vietnamese delegation arrived at Nanning airport to attend the 20th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) and the 20th China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (CABIS) in Nanning city, Guangxi province, China from September 16-17, at the invitation of the Government of the People's Republic of China.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the Vietnamese delegation arrived at Nanning airport to begin attending the 20th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) and the 20th China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (CABIS).
Welcoming Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the Vietnamese delegation at Nanning International Airport, on the Chinese side were Standing Committee of the Guangxi Regional Party Committee, Head of the Organization Committee of the Guangxi Regional Party Committee Wang Weiping; Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam Hung Ba; Deputy Director of the Guangxi Department of Foreign Affairs Zhou Tong; on the Vietnamese side were Consul General of Vietnam in Nanning Do Nam Trung, Minister of the Vietnamese Embassy in Beijing Ninh Thanh Cong; Consulate General staff and the Vietnamese community in Nanning.
It is expected that during this 2-day working trip, along with attending and speaking at the Opening Ceremony of the 20th CAEXPO and CABIS, visiting the exhibition area and trade pavilions of Vietnam and other countries, attending official activities within the framework of the fair and conference; Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh will have meetings and conferences with leaders of China and participating countries; and receive leading enterprises of China and ASEAN to promote investment, production and business cooperation.
Standing Committee of the Regional Party Committee, Head of the Organization Committee of the Guangxi Regional Party Committee Vuong Duy Binh welcomed Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the Vietnamese delegation at the airport.
With the activities and participation of the Prime Minister and the Vietnamese delegation at the CAEXPO Fair and the CABIS 20 Conference, Vietnam conveyed a clear and consistent message about the foreign policy of the 13th National Party Congress: Independence, self-reliance, peace, friendship, cooperation and development, multilateralization, diversification, being a good friend, a reliable partner and an active, responsible member of the international community; affirming the importance of relations with China, ASEAN-China cooperation and relations between Vietnamese localities and enterprises with Guangxi province, China, wishing to strengthen political trust, multi-faceted cooperation, promote economic and trade cooperation, especially border trade, smooth border gate economic activities, local and people-to-people exchanges... to continue to develop bilateral relations in a healthy, stable, substantive and effective manner in the coming time.

The CAEXPO and CABIS took place in the context of the China-ASEAN strategic partnership continuously developing, with two-way trade reaching a new record of 722 billion USD; China has become ASEAN's largest trading partner for 14 consecutive years.
The 20th CAEXPO and CABIS have the theme of "Building a Common Home, a Community of Common Destiny for the Future-Promoting the Belt and Road Initiative for High-Quality Development and Building an Economic Growth Center".
Like previous Fairs, this year, the Vietnamese business delegation participated in the Fair with the largest scale in ASEAN (250 booths, area of 5,000 m2).
