Prime Minister appoints personnel of the Ministry of National Defense and Deputy Prime Minister's Assistant

The Prime Minister reappointed Lieutenant General Bui Quoc Oai to the position of Political Commissar of the Vietnam Coast Guard in Decision No. 762/QD-TTg. This Decision takes effect from June 1, 2025.

The Prime Minister has signed decisions to appoint and reappoint personnel of the Ministry of National Defense and Assistant to the Deputy Prime Minister.

Specifically, in Decision No. 839/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister appointed Lieutenant General Nguyen Hong Thai, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Central Military Commission, Commander of Military Region 1, to hold the position of Deputy Minister of National Defense.

The term of appointment is 5 years. This decision takes effect from April 26, 2025.

The Prime Minister reappointed Lieutenant General Bui Quoc Oai to the position of Political Commissar of the Vietnam Coast Guard in Decision No. 762/QD-TTg. This Decision takes effect from June 1, 2025.

In Decision No. 838/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister assigned and appointed Mr. Le Manh Hung, Director of the Foreign Investment Agency, Ministry of Finance, to hold the position of Assistant to Comrade Nguyen Chi Dung, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister.

The term of appointment is 5 years. This decision takes effect from April 25, 2025./.
