According to opinions at the meeting, the Vietnamese community in China currently has more than 100,000 people, including about 23,000 international students. The Vietnamese community in China is united, close-knit, dynamic, creative; full of patriotism and strong national spirit, always looking towards the homeland and the Fatherland.

The people said that they always follow information about every step of the country's development, especially in the atmosphere of these historic revolutionary autumn days; support the Party and State's guidelines, policies and strategies for socio -economic development, foreign affairs and integration in the new era; and are happy with the great achievements in the country's socio-economic development and the positive developments in the Vietnam - China relationship in recent times.

The Vietnamese Embassy in China always promotes a positive, proactive, and creative spirit, overcomes difficulties, successfully completes assigned tasks, and strives to realize the directions of the Party and State leaders in foreign affairs, consolidates and fosters friendly neighborly relations, and the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership between Vietnam and China, as well as in caring for and looking after the lives of our people, protecting citizens, and maintaining close community ties.
In particular, the people were very happy that right after the Prime Minister's meeting with the Vietnamese community and overseas students in the Kinh - Tan Ky area at the end of June, the Vietnamese Embassy in China promptly opened the first online Vietnamese language class in July for overseas Vietnamese and Vietnamese citizens living, studying and working in China. Up to now, the class has maintained stable teaching and learning, received enthusiastic response from overseas Vietnamese, achieved positive results, contributing to strengthening community connections.

Speaking at the meeting, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh conveyed greetings, best wishes and best wishes from General Secretary To Lam and other Party and State leaders to the Vietnamese community in China on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, September 2.
Wishing to contribute to conveying to overseas Vietnamese the joyful atmosphere, patriotism and national pride in the country these days, the Prime Minister said that after 80 years, our country has achieved great and historic achievements. Our country has never had such a foundation, potential, position and international prestige as it does today. This is our pride.
Recently, we have carried out many large and meaningful tasks to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day, such as completing the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide; implementing the program to build 1 million social housing apartments.
In particular, the Party and State have decided to give each person 100,000 VND, with a total cost of about 11,000 billion VND.
We have opened the National Achievement Exhibition "80 Years of Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness", and the forces are also actively preparing for the celebration, parade, and march on September 2.
Following the direction of the Party and State leaders, agencies, forces and Hanoi city have taken many activities to take care of drinking water, food, shelter from the rain and sun, public transportation, etc. for people coming from far away to watch the parade.

"People are very interested in military parades and marches and especially trust in the Party's leadership with the spirit of 'words go hand in hand with actions', bringing happiness and prosperity to the people. Since its founding, our Party has always strived for the two most important goals of bringing independence and freedom to the country and people and increasingly improving the material and spiritual life of the people," the Prime Minister shared.
The Prime Minister also informed the people about the strategic and revolutionary policies that have been and are being implemented by the Party, the State and the entire political system on streamlining the apparatus, reorganizing the country; implementing the "pillar" Resolutions of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation, national digital transformation, substantive, extensive and effective international integration, building and enforcing laws, developing the private economy, educational and training breakthroughs, etc. These are also major policies with many contents related to the concerns, proposals and recommendations of the people.
The Prime Minister emphasized that, following the eras of independence and freedom, the era of national unification, the era of innovation and integration, our country is ready to enter a new era of development, an era of striving to become rich, strong, civilized, prosperous, and prosperous, standing shoulder to shoulder with the world powers.

Expressing his delight at the increasingly positive developments in Vietnam-China relations, the Prime Minister affirmed that the overseas Vietnamese community has made important contributions to the country’s achievements over the past 80 years. No matter where they are, overseas Vietnamese always turn their hearts to their homeland and country, preserve their national identity, and act as a bridge between Vietnam and other countries and the world. The community is growing stronger and making great contributions to the cause of national construction and defense.
The Prime Minister emphasized that, with the view that overseas Vietnamese are an inseparable part of the Vietnamese ethnic community, the Party and State always pay attention to, meet, listen to, and absorb the opinions of overseas Vietnamese, especially those related to amending, supplementing, and perfecting regulations on land, housing, nationality, visas, work permits, etc., resolving all difficulties and problems, facilitating the lives of overseas Vietnamese, demonstrating the noble and sacred "national love and compatriotism".
Responding to the overseas Vietnamese’s proposals and recommendations at the meeting, the Prime Minister hoped that the community would always be united and integrate well, and that Vietnamese businesses operating in China would comply with local laws; promote national pride, and actively contribute to the friendship and cooperation between the two countries.


The Prime Minister also hopes that Vietnamese students studying in China will actively learn from China's knowledge and experience to contribute to the country's development. During his meetings with Chinese leaders, the Prime Minister always asked the Chinese side to pay attention to and create favorable conditions for the Vietnamese community.
Believing that preserving the Vietnamese language means preserving the cultural identity and heroic traditions of the nation, the Prime Minister said that he has directed embassies to deploy and replicate good models and good practices in teaching Vietnamese, contributing to helping our children abroad become fluent in Vietnamese, attached to their homeland and country, and feel the heroic traditions in the process of building and defending the Fatherland.
