Lao Cai province's budget revenue reached 5,606 billion VND

According to the report of the Department of Finance, the total state budget revenue in the whole province as of June 19, 2025 reached 5,606 billion VND, equal to 57.1% of the estimate assigned by the Central Government, equal to 152.7% compared to the same period in 2024.

Domestic revenue increased compared to the same period in 2024.

Specifically, domestic revenue reached VND 4,983 billion, equal to 58.2% of the central budget, 39.2% of the provincial budget, and 160.5% over the same period last year. Specifically: Revenue from taxes, fees, and other revenues reached VND 3,313 billion, equal to 55.7% of the central budget, 40.4% of the provincial budget, and 144% over the same period in 2024; land use fee revenue reached VND 1,670 billion, equal to 63.7% of the central budget, 37.1% of the provincial budget, and 208% over the same period in 2024.

Revenue from import and export of goods is lower than the estimate assigned by the province.

Revenue from import-export activities reached 623 billion VND, equal to 49.8% of the central budget estimate, equal to 22.2% of the provincial budget estimate, equal to 109.8% compared to the same period in 2024.

The high disbursement rate of public investment capital contributes to increasing state budget revenue in the area.

Sectors, units and localities are implementing solutions to nurture revenue sources and increase revenue to ensure the assigned plan targets of the year.
