Celebrating 20 years of founding the Association of Former Teachers of Lao Cai province

On the morning of June 20, the Lao Cai Provincial Association of Retired Teachers held a ceremony to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Lao Cai Provincial Association of Retired Teachers (2005 - 2025). Attending the ceremony were comrade Ly Binh Minh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; representatives of the Vietnam Association of Retired Teachers; and leaders of a number of provincial departments and branches.

According to the report at the ceremony, in 20 years of establishment and development, the Association of Former Teachers of Lao Cai province has always gathered experienced cadres and teachers in the province, making effective contributions toeducation , training, encouraging learning - encouraging talents and building a learning society in the province.

Currently, the Provincial Association of Retired Teachers has nearly 2,900 members; the association is present in 9 districts, towns and cities in the province, with 140 branches and affiliated associations, accounting for more than 95% of retired cadres and teachers participating. The association has become a strong organization, a meaningful place for retired teachers to gather, actively contributing to the education and socio -economic development of the province.
