According to Decision No. 1011/QD-TTg dated September 20, 2024 of the Prime Minister promulgating the list of key energy-using establishments in 2023, the whole country has 3,491 key energy-using establishments, of which Hung Yen province has 112 establishments. The key energy-using establishments of Hung Yen province are all industrial production enterprises. Among them are a number of large enterprises such as: Hoa Phat Hung Yen Steel Company Limited, Hoa Phat Steel Company Limited, Viet Y Steel Joint Stock Company (Pho Noi A Industrial Park), Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company Branch in Hung Yen (Van Lam), Hoya Glass Disk Vietnam II Company Limited (Thang Long II Industrial Park)... This shows that the map and scale of the province's industry are increasingly clear and also sets the task of ensuring electricity supply and managing operations, including electricity saving activities, energy use, efficiency towards the goal of reducing carbon emissions and protecting the environment sustainably.

According to statistics from the Department of Industry and Trade, in 2024, the total commercial electricity output of the province will reach 6.087 billion kWh, an increase of 8.5% compared to 2023. The province's electricity demand in 2025 is expected to be 1,450 MW and commercial electricity output will reach about 7.67 billion kWh. With the current speed of development of industrial and service projects, the province's electricity demand by 2030 will be 2,260 MW and commercial electricity output will reach 12.27 billion kWh.

Using energy efficiently and economically not only saves costs but also contributes to implementing the model.
