Orientation workshop for volume 2 of the book project "The Road to the Future"

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, on June 19, at the National Library of Vietnam, the Hanoi Writers Association, the Institute of Cultural Anthropology, the Institute of Educational Sciences and Environment in collaboration with the Vietnam Cultural Floor for Learning and Reading, and the Sports and Tourism Publishing House organized a scientific workshop to evaluate volume 1 and orient the next volume of the book project "The Road to the Future".

The conference was attended by researchers, scientists, writers, experts in the fields of culture,education , social sciences and many other fields.

Overview of the workshop

Volume 1 of the book “The Road to the Future”, author Nguyen Xuan Tuan clarifies important issues for sustainable development and national orientation in the context of globalization. The book offers specific strategies and solutions to address the challenges that Vietnam is facing, and at the same time proposes new directions for the future.

Evaluating the writing style and expression, poet Bang Viet emphasized: The book provides diverse and rich events and phenomena of reality in a balanced, unbiased manner, standing in the reader's receptive position with a complete analysis of all the arguments of the insiders but not hastily expressing opinions.

The first 3,000 copies of the book reached readers and after less than 2 months, the book was reprinted with 3,000 copies.

At the workshop, writer and researcher Nguyen Xuan Tuan said that volume 2 of the book series is expected to delve into typical examples and real-life stories to clarify the feasibility of the thinking frameworks proposed in volume 1.

The content of episode 2 expands the humanistic depth of development, with experiences of travelogues, culture, and people; focusing on topics such as: Sustainable economy in rural and urban areas, cultural identity in digital transformation, the role of new economic models such as: electronic cooperatives, circular economy, night economy...
