On November 13, a clip appeared on social media recording a scene of a person guiding a pickup truck through a heavily flooded road during a heavy rain.
The incident occurred on the inter-commune road of Thach Chau - Thach My (Loc Ha district, Ha Tinh ) on the morning of November 13 and was recorded by a resident using a phone.

According to local authorities, heavy rains caused the above road to be flooded. The pickup truck was traveling from Thach Chau commune to Thach My commune. When it reached a flooded section of the road, a person in the truck got out to lead the way. Fortunately, the person and the vehicle were still able to pass through the flooded section safely.
When the clip of the car inching through a flooded road was posted on social media, many people were shocked and scared.

Due to the influence of cold air, from the night of November 12 to November 13, many localities in Ha Tinh experienced moderate to heavy rain, and in some places very heavy rain. In Can Loc and Loc Ha districts, water flooded into houses, forcing people to evacuate their belongings. Thousands of students in these two districts were given a day off by their schools to ensure their safety.
Heavy rain also caused flooding and landslides on National Highway 1 and National Highway 8A, causing traffic jams. By the afternoon of November 13, rainfall in Ha Tinh had decreased.
According to an expert, drivers need to consider carefully when letting their cars "swim" through water like in the above situation.
This expert believes that in similar situations, drivers should prioritize ensuring their own safety and that of those around them. If possible, carefully move the vehicle to higher ground.
