6 more North-South expressways to open before September 2

(Quang Ngai Newspaper) - According to the Ministry of Construction, the 6 component projects of the North-South Expressway in the East, about 208 km long, will complete the main route and open to technical traffic on the occasion of National Day, September 2, 2025.

This is a breakthrough following the opening of several important sections of road this year, contributing to the goal of building an additional 3,000 km of expressway by the end of 2025.

Specifically, 6 North-South expressway component projects, with a total length of 208 km, will complete the main route, including: Vung Ang - Bung expressway; Van Ninh - Cam Lo expressway; the remaining 13 km of the Van Phong - Nha Trang expressway section; some sections of the Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon project (10/88 km); Hoai Nhon - Quy Nhon (45/70 km); Quy Nhon - Chi Thanh (20/62 km).

The Ministry of Construction requires contractors to organize construction in 3 shifts, 4 teams, and mobilize maximum equipment to ensure technical progress before August 19, preparing for traffic opening on the occasion of National Day.
