Math questions have high differentiation

On the afternoon of June 26, 10,627 candidates took the Math exam, the 2025 High School Graduation Exam. According to the report of the Department of Education and Training, 10,627/10,680 candidates registered to take the Math exam (29 candidates were absent and 24 candidates were exempted from the exam). After the Math exam, all exam sites were safe, serious, and in accordance with regulations, with no cases of violating exam regulations.

This year's math test structure is new according to the 2018 generaleducation program. The test has 3 parts, with 22 questions. The first part is multiple choice with 12 questions, the second part is true or false with 4 questions, and the short answer part has 6 questions.

At the exam site of Luong Van Chanh High School for the Gifted (Tuy Hoa City), many candidates leaving the exam room said that this year's Math test could only be done in two parts: multiple choice questions and true/false answers. Most of them could not do the short answer part. Candidate Tran Hoang Hao, 12C3 of Nguyen Trai High School, shared: "This year's Math test structure is both new and difficult."

Candidate Nguyen Ha Van, Nguyen Hue High School (Tuy Hoa City) at the exam site of Nguyen Trai High School (Tuy Hoa City), said: I found the exam questions closely followed the program, with clear differentiation. Candidates who have mastered the basic knowledge can do about 60-70%.

According to teachers, this year's Math exam closely follows the structure of the Ministry of Education and Training 's sample exam, but is more difficult. With this exam, most candidates can only do part I and part II, and most will have a fairly good score range. Only excellent students will get 8 or 9 points.

* Tomorrow morning (June 27), candidates taking the 2018 General Education Program will enter the final exam session with 2 elective subjects out of 10 subjects including: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Informatics, Technology - Industry, Technology - Agriculture, History, Geography, Economic and Legal Education, English, with a test time of 50 minutes for each subject.

For candidates taking the 2006 General Education Program, the exam will be in the Natural Science group including Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Social Science including History, Geography, Civic Education, with a duration of 150 minutes (each component subject 50 minutes); in the afternoon, the Foreign Language exam will be in the exam period of 60 minutes.
