This morning, more than 14,500 Quang Ngai candidates entered the 2025 high school graduation exam.

(Quang Ngai Newspaper) - This morning (June 26), along with the whole country, more than 14,500 candidates in Quang Ngai province officially entered the 2025 high school graduation exam. This is the first year of implementing the high school graduation exam according to the 2018 General Education Program with the orientation of developing students' qualities and abilities.

Candidates will take the first subject of the exam which is Literature.

In the morning, candidates will take the first exam, Literature, with a total test time of 120 minutes, starting at 7:30 a.m. This year, Literature is still an essay test. The test has changed in terms of score distribution, specifically the Reading Comprehension (4 points) and Writing (6 points). Unlike previous years, the Reading Comprehension (3 points) and Writing (7 points) sections. Therefore, candidates need to understand clearly in order to have appropriate and effective test-taking strategies.

In the afternoon, candidates will take the Math exam, with a total test time of 90 minutes, starting at 2:20 p.m. Candidates need to closely follow the exam schedule and arrive at the exam location at least 30 minutes early to be well prepared before taking the exam.

In the 2025 high school graduation exam, Quang Ngai province has 14,517 candidates registered to take the exam. There are 36 exam sites, of which 35 are for candidates taking the new generaleducation program and 01 is for candidates taking the old general education program. The total number of rooms serving the exam is 750, of which 670 are exam rooms, 40 are waiting rooms and 40 are spare rooms. The total number of staff and teachers working on the exam is 2,328 people.
