Weather on June 8: Hanoi and Northern provinces sunny during the day, thunderstorms in the evening

(PLVN) - According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, today the Northern and Central regions continue to have hot weather, with thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.

The Hydrometeorological Agency forecasts that on June 8, the North (except the Northeast) will have hot weather with the highest temperature commonly ranging from 35-37 degrees Celsius, with some places exceeding 37 degrees Celsius. The lowest relative humidity is commonly at 55-60%. On June 9, the hot weather will end in the North.

In the evening and night of June 8, the Northern region and Thanh Hoa will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy to very heavy rain with rainfall of 20-50mm, locally over 150mm.

On June 8-9, the area from Thanh Hoa to Phu Yen will have hot weather, some places will be extremely hot with the highest temperature commonly ranging from 35-37 degrees Celsius, some places will be over 38 degrees Celsius. The lowest relative humidity is commonly at 50-55%. From June 10, the hot weather in the area from Thanh Hoa to Phu Yen will gradually ease.

In the evening and night of June 8, Thanh Hoa area will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy to very heavy rain with rainfall of 20-50mm, locally over 150mm.

In the afternoon and evening of June 8, the Central Highlands and the South will have rain, moderate rain and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with rainfall of 15-40mm, locally over 80mm. The South Central region will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with rainfall of 10-30mm, locally over 50mm.

Thunderstorms may produce tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. Localized heavy rains may cause flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on steep slopes and flooding in low-lying areas.

Morning and night cloudy, scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy to very heavy rain; afternoon and evening less cloudy, sunny, hot in places. Light wind. Thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature: 24-27 degrees Celsius, some places below 23 degrees Celsius.

Highest temperature: 31-34 degrees Celsius, some places above 36 degrees Celsius.

Northeast

Cloudy, early morning showers and thunderstorms in some places, then hot and sunny (except the Northeast); late afternoon and night scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy to very heavy rain. Light wind. Thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature: 25-28 degrees Celsius.

Highest temperature: 34-36 degrees Celsius, some places above 36 degrees Celsius; Northeast region 31-34 degrees Celsius.

Thanh Hoa - Hue

Cloudy, hot during the day, some places will be very hot, in the evening and at night there will be showers and thunderstorms in some places. Light wind. During thunderstorms there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature: 26-29 degrees Celsius.

Highest temperature: 34-37 degrees Celsius, some places over 38 degrees Celsius.

Da Nang - Binh Thuan

Cloudy, sunny during the day, especially in the North it will be hot and sunny, some places will be very hot; in the afternoon and evening there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, especially in the South in the afternoon and evening there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, some places will have heavy rain. Southwest wind level 2-3. During thunderstorms there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Highest temperature: 33-36 degrees Celsius, some places above 37 degrees Celsius.

Central Highlands

Cloudy, scattered showers and thunderstorms, rain in the afternoon and evening, moderate rain and scattered thunderstorms, locally heavy rain. Southwest wind level 3. Thunderstorms are likely to cause tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature: 20-23 degrees Celsius.

Highest temperature: 28-31 degrees Celsius.

Southern Vietnam

Cloudy, scattered showers and thunderstorms, rain in the afternoon and evening, moderate rain and scattered thunderstorms, locally heavy rain. Southwest wind level 3. Thunderstorms are likely to cause tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature: 24-27 degrees Celsius.

Highest temperature: 29-32 degrees Celsius, some places above 32 degrees Celsius.
