The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that today, June 23, the weather in the North will be showers and thunderstorms. Tonight, there will be heavy to very heavy rain in some places.

Especially in mountainous and midland areas, pay attention to extreme heavy rain causing dangerous flash floods and landslides.

The meteorological agency warns that there is a possibility of flooding in the upper reaches of Thao, Lo, Thuong and Luc Nam rivers, the lower reaches of Cau river, and small rivers in the Northern region. The flood amplitude on the rivers is from 2-5m.

During this flood, the flood peak on small rivers is likely to reach alert level 2 to alert level 3. The water level downstream of Thao River, Lo River, Thuong River, Luc Nam River is below alert level 1, downstream of Cau River is likely to be at alert level 1 to alert level 2.

Central region sunny, hot in some places. In the evening and at night, showers and thunderstorms in some places.

The Central Highlands and the South will have showers and thunderstorms in some places, with heavy rain in some places in the evening. Thunderstorms may include tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.
