Weather today 01/07: Rain prevails, mainland and special zones, bays all have thunderstorms

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that today, July 1, the weather in the North and Thanh Hoa will have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, and very heavy rain in some places.

Central region has showers and thunderstorms in some places, especially in Nghe An in the late afternoon there will be heavy rain in some places.

The Central Highlands and the South will have intermittent sunshine, with occasional showers and thunderstorms in some places. In the evening, there will be heavy to very heavy rain in some places. Thunderstorms may include tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Regarding sea weather, the Gulf of Tonkin, the northern and central areas of the East Sea (including the Hoang Sa special zone), the eastern part of the southern East Sea (including the sea area east of the Truong Sa special zone) and the Gulf of Thailand will have scattered showers and thunderstorms.

During thunderstorms there is a possibility of tornadoes, strong winds of level 6-7 and waves over 2m high.

In addition, in the sea area from Lam Dong to Ca Mau , there are strong southwest winds of level 5, sometimes level 6, gusting to level 7, waves from 1.5 - 2.5m high, rough seas.

All vessels operating in the above areas are at risk of being affected by tornadoes and strong gusts of wind.

Hanoi is cloudy, with showers and heavy rain in some places. Lowest temperature 25-27 degrees Celsius, highest 29-31 degrees Celsius.

Northwest cloudy, moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, some places have very heavy rain. Lowest temperature 23-26 degrees Celsius, highest 28-31 degrees Celsius.

Northeast region is cloudy, moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, some places have very heavy rain. Lowest temperature 23-27 degrees Celsius, highest 28-31 degrees Celsius.

Thanh Hoa to Hue cloudy, showers and thunderstorms during the day, heavy rain in some places. Lowest temperature 25-28 degrees Celsius, highest 31-34 degrees Celsius.

South Central Coast is cloudy, with scattered showers and thunderstorms during the day, heavy rain in some places. Lowest temperature 25-28 degrees Celsius, highest 32-35 degrees Celsius.

Central Highlands cloudy, showers and thunderstorms, heavy rain in some places in the evening. Lowest temperature 20-23 degrees Celsius, highest 26-29 degrees Celsius.

The South will have clouds, intermittent sunshine, occasional showers and thunderstorms in some places, heavy rain in some places in the evening. The lowest temperature is 24-27 degrees Celsius, the highest is 30-33 degrees Celsius./.

Hanoi capital.

The Northwest includes the provinces of Lai Chau, Dien Bien, Son La, Lao Cai, and the western region of Phu Tho province (formerly Hoa Binh province).

The Northeast includes Tuyen Quang, Cao Bang, Thai Nguyen, Lang Son, Bac Ninh, Hai Phong, Hung Yen, Ninh Binh, Hanoi provinces, and the northern part of Phu Tho province (former Vinh Phuc and Phu Tho provinces).

Thanh Hoa to Hue.

The South Central Coast includes the provinces and cities of Da Nang, Khanh Hoa and the coastal provinces of Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Lam Dong.

Central Highlands: west of Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Lam Dong provinces.

Southern region includes: Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, Tay Ninh and the Western provinces.
