We arrived at My Dinh Stadium (Hanoi) at 5:00 pm on August 10 and returned home at 0:30 am on August 11 with a very satisfied and energetic mood.
There are probably few programs that are all red music, the audience sings along from beginning to end and everyone is full of enthusiasm and sincerity. Nguyen Thi Huyen (Hanoi) said: “Patriotism is not a trend. Patriotism is in your genes. I am very moved to watch and participate in such an emotional program that conveys such great positive energy. The program has truly touched the hearts of the audience.”
Nguyen Thi Ha ( Thanh Hoa ) shared: “We arrived at My Dinh Stadium very early, preparing red flags in our hands, red flag scarves with yellow stars, cheek decals, red flag fans with yellow stars… to join everyone on the My Dinh fire pan.”
“I cried when every word of the Marching Song resounded among 50,000 spectators. A national concert night was so heroic and full of emotions,” said Tran Thi Kim Oanh, Hanoi. “After watching, my daughter praised it and said, “I didn’t think a political art program could be so good and fun.” This program, for my family, has great educational significance in all aspects, and I think society really hopes for and needs similar programs.”
Mr. Do Cao Bao (facebook CaoBao Do) shared: “Just 2 years ago, many Vietnamese people were surprised by the BlackPink pink fever from Korea. Many people did not believe and could not explain why 31,000 and then 36,000 people came to My Dinh Stadium to watch beautiful young girls dance and sing on stage.”
“Then, last night (August 10), 50,000 Vietnamese spectators filled both the stands and the My Dinh stadium during the national music night called “Fatherland in the Heart”. Unfortunately, the capacity of My Dinh stadium is limited, otherwise there would have been 500,000 people, not less, because 3 million people had registered for tickets on the system”, Mr. Do Cao Bao commented.
No international stars, no trendy music night, just a political music night with songs about the homeland and the country, with familiar songs: Tien Quan Ca, Muoi Ninh Thang Tam, Doan Ve Quoc Quan, Duong Chung Ta Di, Len Dang, Ho Keo Phao, Duong Len Tien Tien, Me Yeu Con, Bai Ca Hy Hop, Khat Vong, Dat Nuoc Tron Niem Vo Hao, Giai Melo Vo Hong, Trat Truyen Hoai Hoai, Se Thien Thang, Que Huong Viet Nam, Xinh Tuoi Viet Nam, I Love Vietnam, Kiep voi Nguoi Viet Nam, Mot Lap Viet Nam, Khat Vong Tuoi Tre, As if Uncle Ho was here on the great victory day ….
“However, because they touched hearts and national pride, more than 20 songs from throughout the nation's modern history were harmonized youthfully with heroic music and lyrics, making the 50,000 spectators at My Dinh Stadium love Vietnam, love their homeland more, and see that the Fatherland is truly in their hearts,” Mr. Do Cao Bao wrote.
Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper Le Quoc Minh, Commander-in-Chief of this program, emotionally shared: “What happened yesterday was exactly as I had envisioned since the idea was hatched. My Dinh Stadium was dyed red with the national flag, 50,000 people proudly sang the national anthem, the army marched in unison with strong steps, the parade was extremely exciting.”
“Familiar yet strange songs through new harmonies, famous but simple singers, musicians, and athletes, playing the role of leaders for tens of thousands of people, the audience ecstatically singing together,” said Mr. Le Quoc Minh.
On the live TV screen at that time, 50,000 people seemed to burst into emotion, their faces filled with love and joy shouted: "The Fatherland in the heart", "Vietnam, Vietnam"...
After the event, Mr. Le Quoc Minh shared on his personal page: “Yesterday’s program inevitably had mistakes because the scale was too large. The biggest in my life. I don’t know if I will have the opportunity and ability to do a similar event or not. But let’s just give it our all, with the sole desire to contribute to society.”
For Mr. Le Quoc Minh, giving the opening speech in front of tens of thousands of people wearing red shirts with yellow stars was a truly indescribable feeling: proud, elated, choked up...
But after such a big program, there are certainly many people who praise it but there are also criticisms, especially the fact that thousands of people still had to line up when the program had already started.
Because this is a completely free program. The organizers have implemented a very large scale of ticket control and QR CCCD scanning according to previously announced regulations. The ticket control and audience flow gates are open from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on August 10, but in reality, there are people who have been queuing for hours and still have not been able to enter the stadium by the time the program starts.
The toilet area serving tens of thousands of people still has many shortcomings. Many toilets are not open, there is no one to guide visitors….
Outside the stadium, the ticket scalping still exists, there are still “people who are willing to profit” from a program for the community and the country like this. Free tickets are resold for millions of dong right in front of the stadium. The situation of buying invitation tickets is as public as selling them.
The parking area for visitors also caused a lot of frustration. A motorbike costs 50,000 VND, has a red stamp, the amount is not printed on the ticket and the money is transferred directly to many personal accounts.
Tens of thousands of cars were pushed into the empty lot right next to the stadium, customers could park wherever they wanted, take whatever they wanted. The entrance and exit gates were shared, no traffic, no instructions, customers had to spend 1-2 hours to get to the gate to return their tickets….
After this event, perhaps the Organizing Committee needs to learn from experience so that profiteers will not be able to act rashly. People can also participate in national concerts with a more relaxed mood, feeling more fully the meaning of the event.
The political art program "Fatherland in the Heart" took place on the evening of August 10 at My Dinh Stadium (Hanoi) organized by Nhan Dan Newspaper, Hanoi People's Committee and other units to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
The program is accompanied by the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam (Agribank), Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN), Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (BSR), PetroVietnam Ca Mau Fertilizer Joint Stock Company (PVCFC), Oil and Gas Exploration and Production Corporation (PVEP), Nam A Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Nam A Bank), Loc Phat Vietnam Commercial Joint Stock Bank (LPBank), SUN GROUP Corporation, Sun Bright Creative Arts and Events Joint Stock Company.
The program brings together artists of many generations such as: People's Artist Thu Huyen, Meritorious Artist Dang Duong, singers Pham Thu Ha, Tung Duong, Vo Ha Tram, Ha Le, Noo Phuoc Thinh, Toc Tien, Thanh Duy, Suboi, Dong Hung, Oplus group...
