V-League is full of foreign coaches

The new season has not yet started but V-League is becoming more exciting with the appearance of a series of foreign coaches, the latest of which is the new Ninh Binh Club, which has just introduced a new captain from Spain.

Previously, big names like Hanoi FC, CAHN, Viettel , Thanh Hoa all had foreign coaches in the hot seat. Even Ho Chi Minh City Club - a team that has been quite conservative about its budget in recent years - is seriously considering the possibility of hiring a foreign coach to replace Mr. Phung Thanh Phuong.

It can be seen that Vietnamese football clubs are expecting foreign strategies to bring innovation in tactics, team management skills, as well as more professional coaching thinking.

Will the quality increase?

The arrival of foreign coaches brings with it many expectations, but also many doubts about whether the quality of V-League will really improve as expected?

On the positive side, foreign coaches will certainly bring a breath of fresh air in terms of expertise and professionalism in the way the team is running. At the same time, they will know how to build a clear playing philosophy, apply high tactical discipline, thereby promoting the professional development of domestic players.

Exposure to different football cultures also helps players broaden their horizons and adapt better to the international environment. Competition between foreign coaches can also promote innovation in each team's playing style and tactics, creating more attractive matches.

The appearance of many foreign coaches makes V-League more attractive, but to truly increase quality is different.

However, it is also necessary to recognize the challenges, as not all foreign coaches are successful in the V-League. Differences in culture, language, and especially the characteristics of Vietnamese football can be major barriers.

Many foreign coaches have failed to adapt, unable to convey their philosophy to their players, or do not understand the competitive psychology of Vietnamese players.

It can be seen that the fact that V-League is flooded with foreign coaches is a sign of integration and the desire to improve Vietnamese football. However, to truly improve the quality, clubs need to have long-term strategies in all aspects instead of relying on foreign coaches.

The quality of V-League will only increase if clubs truly understand what they need from foreign coaches and create conditions for them to best demonstrate their abilities, instead of simply following trends or using foreign coaches as a "means" for brand PR.
