Establishment of 4 advisory agencies to assist the Party Committee of An Giang Provincial People's Committee

At the conference, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee decided to appoint the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee for the 2020-2025 term consisting of 33 comrades (8 comrades are absent); appoint the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee for the 2020-2025 term consisting of 15 comrades; appoint comrade Ho Van Mung, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

At the same time, 5 comrades were appointed to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of An Giang Provincial People's Committee, including Nguyen Thanh Phong, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee and Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee; comrades: Bui Thi Hien, Huynh Hoang Son, Nguyen Thi Liem, Nguyen Thanh Tan to hold the position of full-time Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of An Giang Provincial People's Committee.

The Provincial Party Executive Committee decided to establish the An Giang Provincial People's Committee Party Committee under the An Giang Provincial Party Committee on the basis of merging the An Giang Provincial People's Committee Party Committee with the Kien Giang Provincial People's Committee Party Committee. The An Giang Provincial People's Committee Party Committee consists of 104 subordinate grassroots party organizations.

The conference announced the decisions to establish 4 advisory agencies to assist the Party Committee of An Giang Provincial People's Committee, including: Office, Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, Organization Department, and Inspection Committee. The Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee decided to assign and appoint comrade Le Ky Quang, Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Committee, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee to hold the position of Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee (concurrently); assign and appoint comrade Nguyen Thi Liem to hold the position of Head of the Organization Department of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee (concurrently); assign and appoint comrade Huynh Hoang Son to hold the position of Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee (concurrently).

The Standing Committee of An Giang Provincial Party Committee decided to appoint 6 members of the Inspection Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term; appoint comrade Nguyen Thanh Tan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term; appoint 2 comrades to hold the position of Deputy Chairmen of the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee, including Nguyen Vu Phong and Nguyen Kieu Mai.

Member of the Provincial Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Phong spoke at the conference.

Speaking at the conference, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Phong requested the Provincial Party Committee to urgently complete the relevant regulations and rules of the new Party organizations from large to small to operate in accordance with regulations. Documents need to be submitted in accordance with the process and procedures, with the opinions of advisory agencies.

At the same time, review and evaluate the implementation of tasks in the first 6 months of the year and develop programs, plans, and targets, focusing on implementing tasks in the last 6 months of the year; urgently prepare conditions for organizing the Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, especially personnel work and documents submitted at the congress.

Regarding the work of cadres and personnel arrangement, comrade Nguyen Thanh Phong requested cadres and party members to strictly comply; promote the strength of solidarity, improve political mettle and revolutionary ethics; pay attention to the ideological work of cadres and party members after the arrangement and merger of the province; need to listen, share, and encourage the spirit of cadres, especially those who have changed their positions, helping them feel secure in their work...
