Thang Binh maintains support for 390 humanitarian addresses

(QNO) - On June 6, the Red Cross Society of Thang Binh district held a conference to conclude district-level Red Cross activities and review the association's work in the first 6 months of 2025.

In the past 6 months, regarding the "Charitable Tet" movement in the spring of At Ty 2025, the Red Cross at all levels mobilized support for more than 8,400 poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged households with a budget of more than 3.6 billion VND.

Implementing the campaign "Each organization, each individual is associated with a humanitarian address", the whole district maintains support for 390 humanitarian addresses with an amount of 1.7 billion VND/year. The association's facilities also mobilize resources to support wheelchairs, burials, and gifts for cases of sudden difficulties.

During Humanitarian Month 2025, the District Humanitarian Fund Mobilization Committee supported the construction of 2 humanitarian houses (120 million VND) and 30 gifts for disadvantaged students.

In addition, the District Red Cross Association coordinated with the Da Nang City Red Cross Association to organize the program "Happy Summer" in Binh Nam commune with a series of activities to give gifts to students and fishermen. The total cost of activities during the Humanitarian Month was 500 million VND.
