Last weekend in Hai Phong, 19-year-old girl from Hai Duong, Ngo Thi Tram Anh, with a height of 1.73m and measurements of 89-65-98cm, surpassed 29 contestants to win the crown of Miss Earth Vietnam 2025.

Tram Anh crowned Miss Earth Vietnam 2025:

Tram Anh is currently a first-year student majoring in Business Administration at the Vietnam Women's Academy. Coming from a family with a military tradition, with her father being a Lieutenant Colonel in the army and her mother being a freelancer, she was trained to be disciplined and courageous from a young age. Tram Anh has an older sister who has always accompanied and supported her throughout her journey to compete.

Few people know that the new beauty queen once had a difficult time mentally because of her outstanding height. She was likened to a "fairy sister" with her pure, sweet beauty and big round eyes, but this height made her feel inferior.

"I used to feel self-conscious about being too tall, but later on, my height of 1.73m became an advantage and a source of pride when participating in beauty contests," Tram Anh shared.

The first turning point took place in 2022. At that time, she was an active student, regularly participating in artistic activities at Xuan Mai High School (Chuong My, Hanoi ). Encouraged by teachers and friends, Tram Anh decided to try her hand at the elegant student contest and unexpectedly won the beauty queen crown.

In 2024, entering university, she continued to challenge herself at the National Elegance Student Contest. This time, the worry was no longer height but age and experience. As the youngest contestant, she could not help but feel shy when standing on the same stage with experienced seniors. With determination, she once again reached the beauty queen crown.

She also participated in the Northern preliminary round of Miss Vietnam 2024, before conquering Miss Earth Vietnam 2025.

Throughout her journey at Miss Earth Vietnam 2025, Tram Anh demonstrated her stable ability when she entered the top 5 Miss Sea, top 5 Miss Sports , won the Most Favorite Beauty award to go straight to the top 20 and Miss Evening Gown.

However, the most impressive highlight was the behavioral round when faced with a difficult question from Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy (Deputy Secretary of Hai Phong City Youth Union) about the impact of climate change. Tram Anh answered in both Vietnamese and English, starting with a thoughtful question: "Have we really listened to the earth?"

She continued to analyze the serious impacts: climate change is causing extreme storms and floods, air pollution and water depletion. Tram Anh's point of view is clear and strong when she affirmed: "The solution does not only lie in macro policies or high technology but starts with the awareness and small actions of each person. If each person is aware that they are a part of the earth, protecting the environment will be a responsibility, not a choice."

Her coherent Vietnamese answer was highly appreciated by the judges and the audience, demonstrating a mindset that is in line with the spirit of "Beauty Reborn". However, when switching to English, Tram Anh encountered difficulties as she stumbled, interrupted, and was even interrupted due to running out of time.

Some viewers expressed disappointment, saying that she lacked the courage or was not well prepared for an international competition. However, many others defended her, arguing that at the age of 19, daring to answer bilingually showed effort and that she had plenty of time to improve her foreign language skills.

The moment she was crowned by reigning Miss Earth 2024 Jessica Lane, Tram Anh not only received the title of Miss but also the title of Hai Phong City Environmental Ambassador.

Interestingly, the title of Miss does not automatically bring a place in the international Miss Earth 2025 competition. The organizers announced that the top 4 including Ngo Thi Tram Anh and runners-up Bui Ly Thien Huong (An Giang), Phan Tran Linh Dan (Dien Bien), Trinh My Anh (Hanoi) will continue to be evaluated for a month based on their physique, communication skills, foreign languages ​​and commitment to environmental activities.

Admitting that she is positive, dynamic and sociable, the new beauty queen currently puts her studies first and temporarily puts aside her love life. She frankly said: "I decided that from the moment I entered university, I would not fall in love with anyone, I would only focus on studying and taking exams, so I did not pay attention or care about the boys around me. Right now, I have not thought about the criteria for choosing a boyfriend."
