On the afternoon of March 12, at Phan Dinh Giot walking street, Buon Don District People's Committee coordinated with Dak Lak 2-9 Import-Export One Member Co., Ltd. (Simexco) to hold a press conference to inform about the Lao Bunpimay New Year 2025 in Buon Don District.

At the press conference, Mr. Pham Trung Nghia - Chairman of Buon Don District People's Committee said: Bunpimay Lao 2568 in 2025 aims to honor the traditional cultural beauty, contributing to preserving and promoting the cultural identity of the Central Highlands ethnic groups in general and Lao ethnic culture in particular. At the same time, firmly building the Great National Unity bloc, fostering the special friendship between the two countries Vietnam - Laos; Laos - Vietnam. Bunpimay Lao 2568 in 2025 is organized in combination with cultural and artistic activities, creating a diverse and rich cultural living environment for people of all ethnic groups inside and outside the province. At the same time, introducing and promoting the potential and strengths of tourism development and cultural heritage of ethnic groups in Buon Don district.

The Lao Bunpimay Festival 2025 will take place for 02 days, from May 12-13, 2025 with many unique cultural activities such as the Camp Festival recreating the cultural life of ethnic groups; the culinary competition of 100 delicious dishes of the Central Highlands; the art performance program: "Buon Don - Legend of a land"; the procession of the spring princess Nang Sangkhane, Lam Vong dance, water splashing; the "Bunpimay Beauty" contest... Along with activities related to Buon Don elephants such as the Elephant Buffet party; the opening of the exhibition and awarding of fine arts and sculptures: "Elephants - The pride of Buon Don, Dak Lak".

The Lao Bunpimay Festival in 2025 is expected to attract over 10,000 visitors, contributing to raising the image of Buon Don and Dak Lak on the international tourism map, aiming at sustainable tourism development, linking culture with the local economy.
