Tay Ninh: Promoting digitalization of historical and cultural relics

Tay Ninh applies digital technology to preserve and promote cultural relics. The digital model is deployed throughout the province, contributing to traditional education, promoting tourism and forming new-age digital citizens.

Digital transformation in cultural preservation

Recently, many historical and cultural relics in Tay Ninh have been managed with modern tools and technologies. In mid-June 2025, Hoa Thanh Town coordinated with the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism of Tay Ninh to launch the model of "Digitizing historical and cultural relics", marking a new step in the effort to preserve local historical and religious values ​​using digital technology .

Long Thanh Communal House is one of the places that applies technology to introduce information and documents.

Accordingly, the model is being piloted at 5 typical locations, including: Long Thanh Communal House (national relic); Holy See District Party Committee Base, Tran Van Thien Tomb, Truong Dong Communal House, Truong Tay Communal House (all provincial relics). At each location, a modern QR code board is permanently installed, allowing residents and visitors to look up information with simple operations on smartphones.

Along with that, the functional sector also developed an online platform, providing complete and intuitive information about the history of formation, cultural values, documentary images, travel maps, contact information, etc. This is an effectiveeducational tool, helping young people easily access and remember history in a new, vivid and technology-friendly form.

The model not only contributes to reviving the value of relics in modern life but also affirms the pioneering role of the Youth Union in preserving culture through digital transformation.

The first time visiting Dinh Long Thanh ( Tay Ninh ), Mr. Tran Quang Long (27 years old, in Ho Chi Minh City) shared: "I was very surprised that I only needed to raise my phone to see full information about the relic, from history, architecture to stories associated with this place. This approach is both convenient and helps me understand more about the cultural values ​​of the locality without having to wait for a tour guide. This is something I have not seen elsewhere."

Replicating the model throughout the province

Not only the above activities, recently, the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism of Tay Ninh province has proactively coordinated with a number of units to standardize and integrate digital information for 17 relics and scenic spots across the province. Of which, there are 4 key tourist attractions including: Ba Den Mountain relic and scenic spot, the special national relic of the Southern Central Bureau Base, the Cao Dai Tay Ninh Holy See, and Dau Tieng Lake.

These are places with a large number of visitors each year, playing a key role in the development orientation of cultural - spiritual - ecological tourism in the province.

In addition, 13 connecting and spreading locations are also focused on such as Lo Go - Xa Mat National Park, Binh Thanh Tower, Chot Mat Tower, Duong Minh Chau Base, Khedol Khmer Pagoda, Go Ken Thien Lam Pagoda, Long Dien Son Tourist Area, Long Hoa Commercial Center...

All of the above locations are being integrated with QR code scanning boards containing full information about history, architecture, related events, and maps, helping visitors to access information quickly and accurately, without the need for a direct tour guide.

Digitalization is not only for searching, but is gradually forming an open data system for the Tay Ninh culture and tourism industry, creating an important foundation for future promotion, research and development of digital tourism products.
