Create new products to build Da Nang into a high-quality tourist and service destination

Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Chi Cuong acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of departments, branches and sectors in successfully organizing the event; at the same time, requested the units to promote the achieved results and draw lessons, propose solutions to overcome difficulties to make the organization effective.

The Department of Tourism completes the report, handles problems, and commits to the contents for the units participating in the event; coordinates with relevant departments, agencies, and sectors to promptly develop a specific plan for the 2024 organization, and determine a suitable time to welcome more tourists to the city.

According to the Department of Tourism's report, the Danang Golf Tourism Festival series from 2022-2024 is a highlight, meeting the orientation of building Danang into a leading high-quality tourism and service destination in the region, an event and festival city and an international conference center; at the same time, forming and developing many types of high-end tourism products, effectively exploiting the market segment of high-spending customers, MICE business travelers, golf based on the advantages of natural conditions and a system of international standard golf courses.

Within the framework of the Golf Tourism Festival and the BRG Open Golf Championship Danang 2023, 1,200 visitors visited and experienced the golf exhibition space at APEC Park and 4,000 people watched live at the course; more than 50,000 views on social platforms.

The festival has widely promoted the destination of Da Nang on domestic and international media with more than 340 articles written about the event; nearly 50,000 audiences including businesses and golfers watched the tournament online on 6 live broadcasting platforms; information about Da Nang city and the tournament was promoted by Asian Tour on Twitter, LinkedIn... and VGS Group promoted to more than 80,000 members on the Vhandcicap system.

In addition, the festival was held on the occasion of the National Day holiday on September 2, so it attracted a large number of domestic and international audiences, enriching the activities serving tourists and people interested in golf.

The BRG Open Golf Championship Danang 2023 has created an opportunity for Danang and Vietnamese golfers to compete and learn from professional golfers in the region. Authorities and businesses in the city have the opportunity to learn from the experience of organizing international golf industry tournaments, and update information on trends to serve the development of golf tourism and the golf industry in the coming time.
