"Overcoming the sun and rain"

The exhibition of national achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2 with the theme: 80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness will take place from August 28 to September 5, 2025 at the National Exhibition Center, Co Loa, Dong Anh, Hanoi .

According to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (VHTTDL) - the permanent agency of the Exhibition, this is one of the key activities on a large scale. The requirement is to portray a comprehensive picture of the 80-year journey of protecting, building and developing the country, ensuring inclusiveness, objectivity, honesty, effectiveness and wide spread.

According to Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong, the Exhibition not only introduces the country's outstanding achievements in all fields such as economy , society, culture, security, defense, science and technology, but also aims to inspire the younger generation with patriotism and national pride. Modern technology will help spread that message in a more intimate and attractive way.

At this time, the preparation atmosphere at the exhibition booths is being urgently completed by construction units "overcoming the sun and rain" to complete. Many large items are almost finished, the shape of a national-scale exhibition has gradually appeared, bringing the expectation and excitement of many people.

In the main lobby and central lobby areas, the units have completed the design stage, received the site and entered the urgent construction stage. Many items are deployed in parallel to keep up with the set schedule.

Speaking with Hanoi Moi Newspaper, Mr. Tran Thanh Tung - General Director of My Thanh Advertising and Entertainment Company Limited, one of the units participating in the construction of some booths in the Exhibition, said: The unit is making every effort, arranging many working teams during the day to quickly complete the installation items, ensuring progress as required.

Meanwhile, the exhibition area of the Institute of Social Science Information, Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences has also been completed 70-80% and is entering the final stage.

With the theme of Vietnamese Social Sciences – Knowledge creates the future, the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences introduces outstanding achievements in research and contributions to the Party and State in the process of national construction. The exhibition space consists of 3 parts: Decoding history – Origin of Vietnamese culture; Development creation; International integration and dissemination of Vietnamese culture.

At this time, not only is the main area of the Exhibition Center rushing to the finish line and being completed on schedule, but many routes leading to the Exhibition are also brightly decorated with flags, flowers, billboards... Large 4-sided billboards introducing the Exhibition have appeared on Truong Sa Street.

Proud of the image of a strong Vietnam

Recently, at the Headquarters of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the National Achievements Exhibition, chaired a meeting of the Subcommittee on Contents of the assessment of the identity design mockup: National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2.

According to Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong, up to now, the design work and items of the National Achievement Exhibition have been implemented on schedule by ministries, branches, localities, enterprises and construction units.

The National Achievements Exhibition is an unprecedented national-scale event, with the participation of ministries, branches, central organizations, 34 provinces, cities, businesses, and strategic partners and diplomatic corps.

The exhibition is divided into many sections. The general section at Kim Quy Exhibition House has the theme Vietnam - Journey to a new era, including the Vietnam - Country - People space implemented by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, introducing culture, art, nature, country and people of Vietnam. The space of 95 years of the Party flag guiding the way is implemented by Nhan Dan Newspaper; the Development Creation space is implemented by Nhan Dan Newspaper in coordination with departments, ministries and branches to introduce the history and achievements in many fields of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

The space "Prosperous Provinces and Strong Countries" introduces achievements in the renovation period, cultural identity, and potential of 34 provinces and cities. The space "Economic Locomotives" reflects the development achievements of state-owned enterprises. The space "Startup and Nation Building" introduces achievements of typical private enterprises and national brands with the aspiration to build a prosperous country.

The outdoor area with the theme of Integration and Development includes five spaces: For a green future implemented by the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Industry and Trade; Sky Aspiration implemented by the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Construction; Sword and Shield implemented by the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of National Defense...

The international zone and 12 cultural industries at the Exhibition Hall Block A have the theme of Integration and Creativity. The Vietnam and the World space is a place for the diplomatic sector and embassies to display. The Creative Space is to introduce works and products of 12 cultural industries and achievements in each field.

“The exhibition is not only a political and cultural highlight but also a catalyst to spread national spirit, arousing the aspiration to develop a strong country. This is a highlight in the series of events celebrating National Day September 2, creating an exciting and united atmosphere among the people,” Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong affirmed.

It is known that to prepare for the opening ceremony on August 28, from now until August 20, the Content Subcommittee will continue to review and inspect the entire Exhibition space.
