Provincial People's Committee Office met to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the State Administrative Agency Office

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the State Administrative Agency Office (August 28, 1945 - August 28, 2025), on the morning of August 21, the Provincial People's Committee Office held a meeting with cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers. Attending the meeting were Comrade Lai Van Hoan, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Provincial People's Committee Office and all cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of the Office.

At the meeting, delegates reviewed the 80-year tradition of building and growing the system of State administrative agencies' offices. Implementing the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee, from July 1, 2025, the two provinces of Hung Yen and Thai Binh officially merged into a new administrative unit, Hung Yen province. In the development journey of each locality, the Office of the People's Committee of Hung Yen province (old) and the Office of the People's Committee of Thai Binh province (formerly) have both affirmed their role as advisory, synthesizing, and trustworthy serving agencies of the provincial government. Generations of Office staff have left their mark with a sense of responsibility, dedication, overcoming difficulties, and successfully completing all assigned tasks.

Promoting that tradition, the Office of the People's Committee of Hung Yen province today continues to innovate, be creative, and strive to fulfill its functions and tasks in all aspects of work. With the achieved results, the Office of the People's Committee of the province has been honored to receive many noble awards from the Party, the State, the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee, becoming a source of pride and motivation for cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers to continue to contribute.

Speaking at the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and praised the important contributions of generations of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers of the Provincial People's Committee Office. He emphasized: After the merger of the two provinces, the operation of the two-level government apparatus will face many challenges, heavy work, requiring constant efforts and adaptation, including the key role of the Provincial People's Committee Office. The Office needs to continue to proactively and promptly advise and assist the Provincial People's Committee and the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee in directing and operating, ensuring smoothness, compliance with the law, and closeness to reality, contributing to the successful completion of development goals, especially the goal of double-digit economic growth.
